Arrived on time - looks quality made BUT - the tiny instructions are lame and hard to read
The set is 100% dead as if there was no battery or a battery was not charged. A 'battery' or if it has one or what kind or what voltage etc is not even mentioned. No instructions on what kind of battery to use or how to charge it if indeed it HAS ONE INSIDE. In other words it is 100% useless as I have received it.I gave it a one star only because it is unusable as it is. IF - it is normal for this model to come with some sort of battery - and it is NOT CHARGED - the VERY FIRST THING on the instructions should be how to charge it. BAD first impression.UPDATE - I figured out how to charge the battery. Hard to determine when it is fully charged. On off switch is hard to operate with your thumb. It requires a fair amount of pressure and is better done with your fingernail. The sound volume is terrible - even for a small device- barely audible. The instructions are not user friendly and out of 3-4 attempts I only got one to actually work. i am SURE it was my fault - but then CLEAR COMPREHENSIVE instructions would have precluded that. The LED screen is WAY too small to easily read and i have fairly good eyesight. It is only 3/4'x1/2" Overall - I did not like it but perhaps I expect too much from an inexpensive device. i will return it and try to find another that suits my basic needs - even if it is more costly. It feels like quality - but no thanks on the performance

Frustrating
Update:The seller reached out and has been gracious and helpful. They’re sending me another because my voice recorder was defective.Maybe I’m stupid, but I can’t get my computer to recognize the recorder and the recorder to recognize my computer. I need to upload voice files and I’ve been at it for a couple of hours. The instruction booklet that comes with this voice recorder is absolutely no help and the answering form is similarly unhelpful.I really needed this recorder for an upcoming event 😞

Perfect for my needs
Exceeded my expectations. Exactly what I was looking for. With 5 children it's hard to be everywhere all the time. As my son progresses in piano it's vital to practice exactly as his teacher has instructed. Now he can hit record( whether I'm at the lesson or not) and everything he and his teacher discuss in lessons comes home with him in case he needs a reminder during the week while practicing. You can listen to playback with or without headphones. Slim lightweight and very easy to use!

So-so. A little too complicated.
Not intuitive to use AT ALL. But very clear. Yoh will need to play back on computer to chose a file.

Need better headphones with product
Easy to use and get things recorded fast and easy. Wish there was a memory card slot to make things easier to save.

Absolute crap recorder. Don't be fooled by its weight or visual aesthetic. Twice I attempted to record a lecture that was only 1.5 hours long and the recorder split my recording into two different files. For a pre-med student, ain't got time for that. Plus I found the quality of the recording to be not as great in comparison to the $20 TOOBOM I bought previously (though that one died on me about a couple of years in, but at least the recordings were always saved as one file). Waste of time and money.

Stopped working after 1.5 months of light use
Its just horrible recorder as it stopped working after 1.5 months. If you have it in record mode and the recorder goes in sleep mode ( dont understand how can it go in sleep mode when you have it record mode), it stops recording. My son has not been able to record his teachers vocal and practice it at home dur to this stupid recorder. Please please do not buy this recorder. save yourself from this pain.very very disappointed
