Not as good as I thought it would be.
Not too happy. The head keeps coming off the handle and I haven't had it that long😢.

Not what it used to be!
I purchased this brush to replace one that I had had for 15 years. It was in pretty bad shape as I had used it every day to straighten my hair. It was a Wigo of the same diameter, but my old one was red. This neon green one seemed to be the "modern day" equivalent, so I bought it. Wow, have their standards dropped! The bristles are much shorter and there are far fewer of them. This might seem like a minor point, but it renders it incapable of gripping my hair enough to create the tension necessary when straightening hair. I threw it out and continue my search for a replacement.

Good for creating bouncy waves and reducing frizz
I have thick, wavy/bordering on curly hair. It's also getting progressively more coarse and frizzy as the amount of gray hair increases. It's a few inches past shoulder length with long layers. I tried a variety of brushes in this size (approximately 2" diameter), and this Wigo brush worked the best in accomplishing the three things I wanted: 1) creating a lot of volume, with bouncy waves; 2) reducing frizz; 3) no hair pulling, even when wrapping my hair tightly around the brush. The only thing this brush doesn't do well is dry bangs. Because it doesn't grip the hair very tightly, it's hard to blow dry my bangs straight. Instead, my bangs tend to be too poufy with this brush. (On a side note, I've read that paddle brushes are better for drying bangs, but my stylist uses a 2" round brush, and she is able to dry them straight, so I think it's partially due to her better technique and partially due to her tighter-gripping brush. Some people may not like the fact that this brush doesn't hold hair very tightly. But with my recent experimentation with different brushes, I've decided that I'm willing to sacrifice tightness for a brush that does not yank and break my hair. One slight design flaw worth mentioning - you can see from the photo that the black part on the bottom of the barrel (it's a rubbery material) extends fairly far up the barrel. I'm not sure why it was designed like this, but this makes the drying surface of the barrel a bit shorter than other brushes of similar size. Also, this black part extends down the handle, and if I'm not careful, my hair can get caught in the groove between the black part and the green handle, causing a couple of strands of hair to be pulled out. These are not deal-breakers, though, and the blow-drying quality of the Wigo brush more than compensates.
