Cute convenient top for newborns only
Worked great for about 2 weeks after my son was born. After he reached about 8.5 or 9 lbs it really wasn't supportive enough for him. I would recommend this for while mom is in the hospital and shortly after birth. I had a C-section and the midsection was very supportive for my surgical site and allowed me to hold my baby close without pushing on my incision. Giving 3 stars due to the very short length of use I got out of this product and the high price paid. I suppose I could still wear it under a cardigan or something for easy access breastfeeding on the go, but he wont fit in it anymore at all...

Love it! Buying another right away.
Ive been debating purchasing this shirt since I found out I was pregnant. I am 6 days post c section and after being home for a couple days I decided I want it. I read all the reviews here which are very mixed, ordered it with prime and received it today. I put it on, it fit well and as soon as baby woke from nap I nursed him and put him in the pouch. I am so glad I bought this shirt, it is amazing! Fits my baby like a glove, totally secure and supportive and he is so content in it. I'm actually here on Amazon now to write this review and order another color. If you're thinking about purchasing this shirt I recommend going to the lalabu website and watching the videos on sizing and how the shirt should fit so you know what to expect. I am 5' 4" tall, 170lbs 6 days post pardom with a pre pregnancy weight of 150lbs. My measurements were 34in and 42in for bust. I actually measured a medium but ordered a large because I'm an XL in nursing bras right now. Baby weighs 7lbs 20 inches long. Hope this helps!

Overpriced and few other issues
This shirt was pretty useful during the first few weeks after my baby was born and extremely easy to use compared to other carriers. I carried him in it to the store, doctor visits, and sometimes at home when I needed to get things done. Although it came in handy in the beginning, I wish I could give it five stars, but there are a few things that make it less than great:1) It's only good for the first few weeks when baby is still small and mostly sleepy. After about 4 or 5 weeks, my baby was too big and wiggly to stay in it so I had to switch to my Boba carrier.2) Some people said it makes a good nursing top afterwards, but I didn't care for it as a top. The pouch part gets pretty stretched out, which would sag down so I found myself constantly pulling it up over my chest.3) The arm holes are small. They would rub against my underarms so I had to constantly pull the bottom of the shirt down.4) Not much support overall. Baby would sink low into the pouch after a while so I had to mostly hold him up with my arm anyway.5) This product is overpriced considering the short amount of time it was used. It's also basically a shirt with a pouch. A good price would be about $40, not $70.6) It runs slightly small. I ordered a size large based on the sizing chart, but it felt a little tight and constricting even when baby wasn't in it.Overall it did help me for a little while so it's a decent product, but would I buy it again? No I wouldn't...Not for $70.

Must-have Essential! My highest recommendation!
I live in it, go everywhere with it, and love it.Emphatically.The shirt is stretchy and extremely comfortable. I can drop baby down and breastfeed her (in public I have a cover as an option). The mesh insert next to my skin keeps us both cool. It's secure and safe. I've even introduced her to a warm pool wearing this shirt (while being attentive and aware of water level, temperature, and her reaction).I even attend professional events with her (see pic of us at Digital Marketing conference). Not only do I not have to rely on carrying a heavy car seat out of the car (it's very easy to get her in and out of the shirt while holder her safely), she can sink in the shirt and sleep or *has the option to look around and be engaged. This is excellent for baby's development (and mommy' social well-being). We are not esconsed in a house, we are active in society together and she is not constantly covered.I purchased a second shirt and rotated them from 6 pounds -11 pounds at 4 or 5 months. It's well-worth the money consuming my high usage, ease of breastfeeding, ease of hands-free activity including social, and bonding with my baby instead of over-use of mechanical contraptions. My highest recommendation! You and your baby deserve this shirt.-Veronica Cannady (purchased through my husband's Amazon Prime account)

Love it! But sizing is a bit off
I love this shirt! I ended up ordering a second to wear while the other is in the wash. The only reason I give it a 4/5 is because the sizing is WAY off in my opinion. Pre-pregnancy I am a size Small. 2 weeks postpartum I weighed 150 with D-cup and am 5'9. I initially ordered a medium and it was too small. I sent it back for a large which fits me snug. I don't care what size my label has on it, but just want others to know that you'll probably need to order up 2 sizes up!

My favorite!
I love this shirt! I am two weeks post-partum with my third child and have worn it just about every day since I got home from the hospital. I love it for so many reasons including the flexibility it gives me to tend to my other two children while keeping baby close and happy, the convenience it offers for nursing at any given time, and the way it supports my tummy post c-section. Whether wearing this shirt around the house or out in public, it is definitely a must-have for all new mommies!

Might be better for smaller moms and smaller babies.
It's a nice shirt, and well-made, and the pouch is fast and easy to load for when I need a quick hand free (much faster than putting on a carrier). Nursing access is very quick and easy, as long as you're not too concerned with modesty. However, at 8 weeks old and not all that large, my son is borderline too tall for the pouch, and his weight tends to drag the shirt down if I'm not supporting his butt. He also protests after being in it for more than a few minutes, even when I'm supporting his weight (he's perfectly happy in moby-wrap-style carriers). Also, while it can be worn without a bra and prevents that nasty under-boob sweat build-up, it doesn't provide quite the support I'd like for my DDDs.
