This speaker is definitely worth looking at. I absolutely love mine!
Let's start off that I am a dj. That being said I have a lot of equipment. I own and have used Bose S1pro's, Mackie thump go's, Everse 8s & 12's, Soundboks 3's, Dimondboxx speakers, and all the JBL partyboxes, and alot of other bluetooth speakers. The Alpha Theta Wave Eight is one of my favorites! It has wireless connect with sonic link and bluetooth, reverb for the microphone or guitar, along with bass and treble setting. You can use this speaker stand alone or with a mixer. I have used it both ways and it is works great! I personally like using mixers for more control and fine tuning, but either way it works. On paper it only 110 watt and 118 decibel. Those numbers mean nothing until you hear these speakers side by side. The Alpha Theta Wave Eight can easily hang with its competition. Being ( Bose S1pro's, EV Everse 8s, and Mackie thump go's. It's pretty close to the Everse 12's but the Everse 12 is a 12" speaker. ) But with the rise in prices the Alpha Theta Wave Eight is right in the middle of pricing. Now for the the way the speaker sounds! It has a full sound and has the best bass. And can get just as loud as the Everse 8. That bass is clean and the mids are strong and clearance the highest are loud but not harsh like most of the others. The Alpha Theta Wave Eight can also connect to multiple others and with the Dsp you can ajust them for the different settings like music full or music low cut.)(Less bass if you are using a sub woofer) Flat for live music and Busker, vocal setting for speeches and last but not least you can make this a sub woofer. So it you are playing 3 of these together you can dedicate one for left and the other to right and the 3rd one a sub woofer. I am definitely getting another one for now because i like having good speakers in pairs. I already have a battery powered sub so i don't think I need 3 but I might get more for 4 because the sonic link and you can space them out at certain events and they are Wireless and that is very convenient. I have tested these with a mixer and without wired and Wireless they sound the same however you hook them up and I like that because I have tried other speakers that did not perform the same when they were hooked up different. All in all I think the speaker is definitely worth the money and the portability makes it even better the sound is full and rewarding to listen to so I believe I have found my next go to wireless system. You can also daisy chain to another speaker with these and make it get signal without running a wire all the way from the mixer just run it from one of these speakers and that works great too if you need a little more reinforcement. I use them on my Bose F1 system and that system gets loud.I wanted to go over as much about the speaker as I could because I've not seen a lot of reviews on this speaker and I'm really surprised because it is amazing! Why did you pick this product vs others?:To try it out
