This is the basic samsung IR remote. Works perfectly with both our TVs. Has all the buttons that the smart one doesn’t. Fast and effective.

This remote works like it should right out of the box. I used it on a tv I was selling so not sure it works with every function.

I don’t know if it was just this unit but it didn’t work hardly at all. I put fresh batteries in it and had to be on top of the tv for it even do anything. Then it still wouldn’t work properly.

It seems to go into sleep mode after several minutes of not in use. When I do need to use it, being power up/down, adjusting volume, channel, you name it, the TV will not respond. I have to click the button twice or 3 times to get the action I expected. Then all other buttons came back to life like after I get to the right channel, I can click volume, home and all other buttons just once to get the right action.So, it is annoying. Had I known it, I will pay more to get another remote to work the same as the original Samsung one.

Incredible, it's just like the original! I ordered this controller because I'm always losing mine, so I can have two! Great, I love it!
