It's an after market remote that I bought to replace the original Samsung one that finally crapped out after 12 years.. Put batteries in it and it works. unless it's defective. Which this one was not. Worked fine.The only two small issues I have are..1.) Some buttons are really spongy. I'm hoping with use they begin to feel better. But they function just fine.2.) The original remote, as with this one, have a light button that lights up the remote to see the buttons in the dark. On the original it was a soft white light that lit up the entire remote nicely. While this one is an excellent shade of red, with where the lights are located some parts of the remote are lit up more than others. But again, it works!Only other things I'll say is, I honestly don't know why I'm even bothering to leave this rating/review? I mean, no one, NO ONE, likely still has this TV and will need this remote. Probably why it was like $8 buck (rounded up). However, I'm leaving the rating/review for those who might want to buy from this seller and the quality and timely manner in which they ship. And they did also ship quickly.In the end, yes, I would recommend this seller and their remotes.

It replaced the original remote that came with the TV. Does everything. The only differences I’ve noticed are, it’s lighter and the the buttons require a heavier touch.

Who knew I could purchase a direct replacement for my old TV remote control so easily and inexpensively? This thing is almost impossible to distinguish from the original and works great. And not expensive at all. Thank you!

This remote is more cheaply constructed than the original, but that is reflected in the price. Once batteries were installed, it worked right out of the box.

Pretty flimsy knock off of the stock remote. The lights under the buttons don't all light up evenly like the stock remote did. Some of the buttons were more sensitive than others, particularly the navigation arrows in the middle. It paired with the TV and works for the most part, but I'm not expecting longevity out of this thing. Somewhat to be expected for the low cost.

My old remote was chewed up by the dog. This, very inexpensive replacement, works well with the set and the buttons are in the same location. It is hard to retrain an old person like me.

Needed a replacement remote for my 10 year old samsung tv. Was expecting a refurbished remote but actually received a brand new one.
