Annie's Shells and White Cheddar Mac and Cheese with Organic Pasta, Dinner Side or Snacks, 4 Ct, 24 oz

I've eaten this since I was a kid, so I have a weak spot for it. I ran out a bit ago and needed to restock.I made one box, and ended up accidentally changing my mac and cheese game forever. I wanted to be a little fancy with my boxed mac and cheese, so, after I drained the pasta, I started making a roux with the butter and cheese powder.While I was mixing, I accidentally browned the butter. It created a golden-brown cheese mixture that I stirred some milk into. Then, I added the noodles, and sprinkled some flakes of sea salt on top.The result was so good that I could cry, and I'm going to be browning my butter for boxed mac and cheese every chance I get.

I really like Annie's "Mac'n'Cheese" (I buy these by the dozen). I've tried 3 of them and they're all super -- BUT they need to do something about the cheese... it really doesn't like to easily dissolve and mix with the butter and milk (it takes perseverance, but it's worth it - it eventually gets there)... It's decent pasta, though I will admit to adding some other brand to go along with it... There's enough sauce to handle it...The powdered cheese leaves a bit to be desired, but in the end it's 10000% better than that popular blue box crap with the pouch of disgusting cheese...

Annie’s is one of the favorite food companies since discovering them when Snow as young a couple of decades ago.These are sometimes on sale and a fantastic price. Affordable at full price, too.Tasty and easy to make. Sometimes I use Greek yogurt or regular whole milk organic yogurt for either type instead of butter and milk. Super creamy results.Flavor is fantastic, to me. Sometimes sprinkle everything seasoning on top. Pink salt or a mineral salt I forget the name of. Yummy.Planco bread crumbs are another enjoyable topper.However prepared this is a favorite simple to make mac n cheese.Lots of flavor and noodle options available. To extend the amount made can add extra noodles purchased separately.Great company. Great product. Happy customer for about two decades. It’s been so long I can’t recollect when we first began buying. Just that we have for so long, my now 30 plus year old grownup son use to enjoy making his own mac n cheese like a big boy.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯

I was looking for a little bit healthier option for mac & cheese for my son since most of the store brands are super unhealthy. Unfortunately, I was kind of disappointed with the amount of sauces provided for the amount of pasta. It’s tasty I could be better.
