Q: Hello, how much water do these distillers hold? how long does it take to distill when full? how many filters come with the machine? thanks

It holds 4ltrs and takes about 3hours, I pour in a kettle of boiled water first then cold to fill it up to the 4ltr mark it will cut time down

Q: Are they home compostable? Can they legally be disposed of in all local authority food waste bins collected from kerbside in the UK?

I’m not sure but I dispose of them in my household bin

Q: If you use the distiller 1-2 times a week how often should the filter be changed?

We use the distiller about 1/2 times a week and we change our filter about every 3 months. I think it depends on the quality of your water, and your personal taste. You can start to taste the difference when the filter starts to get old in my opinion and you can chage it out when you notice the difference.
