Tea is fine, I've made a couple pots so far
Tea bag shows expiration date from 2 years ago, not sure how this would have been fresher but it is still fine and good value.

My new favorite chai
I haven't yet had a cup, but as an herbalist, I know I'm going to love it. Upon opening the package, the aroma of the different herbs playing off each other is divine. If I'm wrong about loving it, I'll change this review. I love chai, and I've had many different blends, but this one immediately tops them all just on presentation and the scent.

Pretty good, for blackberry black
not bad - I thought I had ordered blueberry black tea, so my initial review was a bit tainted by my expectations.

different than European imported Assam tea
This is American grown and I was surprised at the texture. It's almost like all very tiny twigs. I brew it longer because it's weaker than the imported. But it is delicious Assam tea.

Great
Bought this tea as a replacement for a more expensive loose breakfast tea we always used. Found this tea to be as good if not better than more expensive tea .

Fresh
I love this tea. It is perfect for brewing Kombucha and Chai Conecntrate.

Marketing Greatly Fails to Reflect Actual Product
In the photos, there appears to be more of the leaf present. But obtaining it, I instead received a product that only has loose tea ideal enough for a teabag, and not allowing the customer to brew their tea as intended. I don't really approve of the deceptive photographs shown on here, especially from a company that purports themselves to be teamasters. However, with that major gripe aside, this brand of Scottish Breakfast Tea is completely different from others I have tried (Taylors of Harrogate, Brodies) in that it has a very fruity, earthy flavour with a bold, medium-bodied mouthfeel. It may show a bit of semblance to its slight maltiness that seems to be observable with plenty of Scottish beverages, not including IRN BRU.A good thing, however, is it comes inside a plastic sealable bag, which is a plus, because it helps maintain the tea's freshness longer than just having it in a foil bag that can almost never be sealed. However, I must note that plastic bags aren't always the most airtight things in the world, even if it's able to use a "Ziploc" seal. One of the best methods of keeping a proper seal would be in a glass jar with a seal under the lid, or around the lip of the jar.Though, another problem this product has is it is rather overpriced for what you get, even if it's USDA Certified Organic. Therefore, I think based on how this product is processed, the entire thing is a bit of an ask. In comparison to Taylors of Harrogate, the pricing and the overall experience is easily trounced by their competitor.I'd hardly get this product for the sake of having a full loose tea experience, especially when the manufacturer intentionally deceives customers with their lack of QC, and how the price does not reflect that.

Makes the BEST kombucha!
I’m on my third batch of homemade kombucha brew with this tea and it’s by far the best tea I’ve used! Highly recommend this for everyday use or kombucha brewing. It’s absolutely delicious and it’s SO clean!
