This review is for the ETbotu Universal Mobile Phone IR Control Remote Controller USB C Interface for Android Smartphone.As others have stated, I also received a micro USB blaster. It was in a box clearly stating on the outside it was for Micro USB. Others have received the correct USB C model. I have a phone with a micro USB port and can use the IR blaster I received and will keep it. I bought a 3 pack of Weduda Micro USB to USB C Adapters so I could test the blaster on a Google Pixel phone. Not all adapters have the correct wiring for OTG but I read in other reviews the Weduda model does. With an adapter in place, I confirmed it would work on my Google Pixel phone. The connector on the blaster was plenty long enough to use on my LG G3 phone through a fairly thick cover. The cover is almost 5/64" thick or slightly thicker than 1/16". Any thicker and the blaster body would be in contact with the cover.I sent emails using two different ETbotu email addresses suggesting they need to be more careful with their order picking and perhaps didn't realize they had two different models. I have not received a response and will order a USB C model from someone else. Using an adapter places the IR blaster quite far out and makes the risk of damaging the port on the phone more likely.

It said it was a USB C recieved, instead I recieved a micro USB IR blaster, I haven't had a micro USB phone in 2 years, I couldn't even tell you if it works

Ordered in a USB C and got a USB Micro. Can't even use this.

This is a USB micro. False Advertising! Bad product.

I had no problem programming the unit to control my TV and DVD, was unable to program unit to control my sound bar, unit uses about 70 percent of my phone's battery power in one day, I've disconnected it and will probably not use it. If I return the unit, it will cost me most of the money to ship it back, so I'm stuck with it
