Barrel Arrived with Oil on the Barrel
I'm not sure if this is a normal thing for water storage barrels, but there was a noticeable amount of black sticky liquid on the outside of the barrel. Looks and smells like oil. It was on the top as well as on the sides of the barrel. It's like it was lathered in a very thin coat of black oil. Very strange. Other than that, the barrel is pretty sturdy. Seems very durable, and the inside looks very clean. I am wondering if this was just a shipping problem?They didn't ship the barrel in a box or anything, so maybe that is the reason why something leaked on it in transportation. Not really sure.

Stout 55 Gallon Water Drum
Appears to be high quality. Still need to clean with bleach and fill, but I'm waiting to get a rolling stand before I make it so heavy I can't move it. Arrived in great shape. Will be ordering another one or two.
