Got here just in time for date night tonight with my bae. We went on a scorpion hunt (not really hunting just searching) it was awesome seeing them glowing in the dark and we even saw a tarantula eating a scorpion! This flashlight is way bigger than I expected, in the pic it looks kind of small but it was huge and awesome and really lit up the scorpions. Last one I bought from a local store was horrible, cost twice as much and stopped working after an hour this one is fantastic quality and really well made.

Bought the flashlight to be able to detect where my cat peed on the couch and the flashlight doesn't show the markings at all. Just a waist of money at this point.

If you miss the correct way to install the battery canister -- which is easy to do--you may end up as we did with an overheated product that poses a severe fire hazard. I use it for 5 minutes and then turned it off, leaving it on the upholstered couch. 10 minutes later, I happened to pick it up again and it was red hot. The inside mechanism had melted. I shudder to think what would have happened to my house if I had left it on the couch much longer. This product should have a failsafe. I would give it zero stars if I could. I now have to make calls to the four other people I gave this as a gift to, in order to warn them about this hazard.

The first time I used the black light it worked great. The next day I wanted to check my cleaning and it would not work. I changed the batteries, still didn't work, but, I unscrewed the cap and kept holding it and tapping it on the battery connection until the light shined. But, it would not screw on and have the light come on. I had to hold it lightly in the position to keep the light on. A bit hard I must admit.

My first cat started spraying after I got another one. This light was just what I needed to find and treat the spots instead of trying to sniff them out. Only thing is it shows all dirt and spill stains which is not a bad thing. Also the stains will only show in the dark.

Despite the thickness of the wide lens. It is not as bright as it looks. I bought one before about half the size and just as bright.It is bright and picks up alot of UV “visuals”, but im just saying, for the big thick lens, I thought it was going to be brighter than what it is.

I have issues with my cat peeing on the carpet and I got this blacklight to figure out where I already cleaned vs where I missed a spot. Overall the product works great. The area of the light is quite large, which is good if you want to quickly scan through your carpet to find spots. In addition, the flashlight itself is quite heavy duty with a solid casing.

I got a new puppy and I needed to find any accidents before stepping on them. I think it works good on floors but not on carpets, I found wet spots on the carpet that smelled like urine when I aimed the light it would showed some but not all. I'm so glad my puppy is now fully potty trained! Now I use this product to find dirt in the house, lol.

Good customer services helping me resolved issues with defective UV flashlight.Replaced brand new batteries 3 times within 45 mins to try to maintain brightness to search for pee. Light went dim pretty fast. Not bright as advertised, hard to see cat pee, even with all the lights turn off. I have to hold the light very close.Wasted 9 AA batteries Just disappointed. I was looking forward to this.

The UV light does illuminate cat urine and other stains on surfaces. The light is not bright enough to work in daylight in a room that has a window, but that is okay and you can just use it at night. The problem is that sometimes the batteries come loose and the light beam goes very dim or even comes out. If you shake the light or tap it lightly it will eventually go back to full strength, but it is kind of annoying! We thought it might be an issue with the batteries we were using but even after changing them the issue still persists. This makes it difficult to use the flashlight for long periods of time as you have to keep shaking or tapping it to go back to full strength. Another concern is that the first few times we used this flashlight it smelled quite strongly of burning plastic.....

it's on the heavy side but that is ok, its metal and holds 6 AA batteries.The results of what we saw with the light where great things you miss on cleaning arevisible and easy to fix.We took it on a cruise with us during the height of the COVID-19/ Coronavirus, to give us peace of mind.I was very happy with the results.Now it will go with us on all trips - will buy again if this one should die.

Ouf! On voit tout! Même ce qu’on ne pensait pas trouver... Comme dans les enquêtes policières, on ferme les lumières et oups! Ça révèle les petits coin pas frotté! J’avoue, qu’on peut vite devenir obsédé par tout ce qu’on découvre. Et pourtant m ma maison ne semblait propre. J’ai acheté ce produit parce que j’ai un chat qui parfois, a de petit problème urinaire. Mon nez est assez efficace mais quelques fois, je ne réussissais pas à retrouver la provenance. Cette lampe est trop, on voit tout tout tout. Alors, à moins de devenir obsessive compulsive du ménage à quatre pattes...ça révèle un peu trop pour mes besoins. Je précise, j’ai une maison considérée comme propre!

The flashlight finition is better than what I expected for the price. It's well machined and assembled. It needs 3AA batteries (not included). It's powerful enough that you can see the purple beam partially with the lights on. With the lights off, it's easy to track anything. I used it to locate and clean pet urine.
