37 days and STILL going strong!
So, like most of the other reviews I agree that this patch has a steep learning curve, but I contend it’s worth it!I’m a distance runner averaging about 25-30 miles a week. All of that sweating makes keeping a Dexcom patch on for more than a few days nearly impossible. So Dexcom started sending me free “over-patches” which were fine except I’d need to replace them twice a week which made extending my sensor for two sessions nearly impossible. So I found these… and the secret ingredient:“Skin Tac Wipes” are critical and make these (and likely other patches too) work amazingly well - they also make any patch hypo allergenic. So here’s what I’ve been doing.1. Clean the site with alcohol (duh)2. Wipe with Skin Tac Wipe and let dry till tacky3. Apply/insert new Dexcom4. Wipe Dexcom patch with Skin Tac again (*very important!*)5. Let dry till tacky again.6. (optional) cut down this patch if desired.7. Remove WHITE side of patch backing (leaving small white side sections to help with placement.)8. Apply Patch. (TIPS BELOW!)I just removed mine after 37 days and it was still stuck on firmly (see the ugly thing in a pic I attached)TIPS:The first time you do this just be ready to throw it away, again learning curve.Best approach is to line it up as best as you can and focus on getting the patch smoothly on YOU and don’t worry that not all of it is fitting down around the sensor, after you’ve got most of it on then go back and pull/massage/wrestle the rest over the sensor.I look at this small opening on the patch as a major PLUS because it creates a watertight seal from the crappy Dexcom patch, which when wet tends to separate from the skin.Hope this helps someone!

These are great!
I’ve used several brands of Dexcom bandages. I like these. They are a little difficult to figure out how to use the first couple of times.... but once you get the hang of it they last the full 10 days usually and don’t pull any hair too badly. Pretty great! I would definitely recommend them.

Works well with skin prep
Good for my sensitive skin but I still had to use Flonase and Skin Prep. Some times peels off after heavy sweating and multiple showers.

Love/Hate Relationship
I am rapidly developing a love/hate relationship with this product. I had placed my sensor on my leg and almost immediately the edges started peeling up, hence my ordering this product. I spent a week placing adhesive tape around my sensor and changing the tape at least a couple of times a day just so the sensor wouldn't fall off.My patches came in and I was so excited. I took one out of the package and took several minutes trying to figure out which part to peel off to expose the sticky side. The product comes with a tip sheet (i.e. clean the area with alcohol, etc.) but no other instructions. Hint: There's a line scored near the bottom of the white part. Don't peel off the clear part with green hieroglyphs. After prepping the area I managed to somehow adhere the patch to my skin almost perfectly. There was a tiny bit rolled up at the bottom edge but I just let it go. For two days I was in heaven. The material is thin and light which allows it to flex a little with your skin. It's very much like the material they place over an IV site in the hospital. I loved it.Last night, I changed my sensor. I shaved the area on the opposite leg, cleaned it with an alcohol swab and attached the sensor. Adhering the adhesive patch was clumsy, to put it mildly, and within minutes one whole side had peeled up. And, by the way, there's no re-positioning this stuff. Once you peel it off it's done! There's a reason they tell you not to touch the adhesive side. Anyway, I used a pair of scissors to trim off the loose stuff and stuck another patch over what was left. While this installation was less awkward it was far from a breeze. I have determined that they have designed these upside down. The sticky side should be covered by the clear/green material. First, it's easier to remove - I wonder how many people have grabbed the obvious break point and peeled away that layer only to find they've wasted a patch. Second, the white part is more rigid. I could very easily apply these by peeling away the clear/green layer, holding it by the edges of the semi-rigid white layer, and placing it exactly where I want it to be.The day after changing my sensor I am on my third patch and I have adhesive tape holding down the edges. How did I come out ahead with these?Update: I think I used a total of five patches over eight days of use for my last sensor. They have a tendency to gradually peel away from the edges. I had to bail two days early due to irritation. I think it was ingrown hairs since there wasn't any overall reaction. Also, 12 days later, I still have a (faded) red oval at the first installation site.

A little challenging
I have not been able to put one on myself because it sticks and folds up too quickly. I like it being clear but an easier way to use would make them wonderful.

A+ for teen swimmer
I love this product and have ordered them several times. My teen is on a swim team and these hold up very well as long as you clean the skin thoroughly before application. It will typically last 6-7 days before the edges start to peel up. When that happens we just trim the edges and put another over top.

It stayed in place all 10 days.
it was easy to remove. My hair was not pulled out, so it was not painful to remove. It looked about the same for the entire 10 day period. Its very flexible while putting it on so that makes it tricky.

Works, but needs improvement
Not cut to fit over the sensor...Thankfully you get a lot of them because you will mess up a few trying to open them, and then put them on.Better than nothing, but all the confusion to use them- I won’t buy these again...
