Getting Started with EEG Neurofeedback

Great book on NFB. Provides the information you need to get started!

I have been a neurofeedback patient for a few years, and it literally saved my life. I bought this book because I wanted to better understand how it works. It definitely answered all of my questions!

The first edition of this book was beyond imagination; this one is a home run! As a health care professional learning to do neurofeedback correctly and effectively, I find this book is the reference for my questions, but also instructs me with a broad scope of neurofeedback protocols and methodologies. It is pithy and complete with no wasted words: straight on!

Short read.

In 2005, I was struggling to learn more about neurofeedback and develop the skills I needed. I saw neurofeedback's potential to transform mental health services -- with far better results. John's book Getting Started in Neurofeedback was the basic guide I needed to add this remarkable intervention to my professional toolbox. This edition brings that basic foundation up to date with new information on the amazing developments in the field -- including z-score training and LORETA/sLORETA training that allows us to see what's occurring below the cortex. I hope he's already started on the 3rd edition, because new developments are emerging daily!

Great introduction to the field. A perfect starting point for anyone interested in Neurofeedback certification or just curious about where it started and where it is heading. Clear, direct writing about a fascinating subject matter.

This book will allow you begin neurofeedback with confidence. My favorite book on the subject!
