This sofa/bed desk is great quality, good size, and comes fully assembled. Plus it folds flat for storage.1. Superb paint quality. It has a textured powder or electric coated metal frame. May have the wrong terminology, but it is a quality paint job.2. The adjustments are great. The desktop goes from horizontal to vertical with many stops in between that range. This allows you to easily tilt to a position you want. Height of desktop is adjustable up and down with good range. An added adjustment can be made to the vertical beam holding the desktop to give it a slight tilt towards you.3. Desktop quality is good and the bumper/lip around it works well for its purpose. The built quality of the frame, its price, and what is available here, replace the desktop if you want something better. It is worth it on this.4. Only minor grip is the wheels. Again, consider the cost if this vs what is available. If you will be rolling this around lot, maybe consider some better wheels. I am using roller blade/skate wheels and added a 25 lb hand free-weight to the bottom for stability. Even though it doesn’t have stops to keep it from moving, the skate wheels are more stable with the weight, than the whees that came on it.5. Overall, I’d buy again.

This over bed table is perfect for our needs. Sturdy with great adjust-ability. Works great for holding a book or laptop when tilted or for a meal or snack when flat. It also works with our recliner. We got the heavy duty model. Not sure what people were reviewing when they said it didn't require assembly unless the standard duty model comes assembled. I'm taking off a star because the assembly instructions are terrible. They were squeezed onto one page so that the drawing is too small and the instructions too terse. I've got good mechanical aptitude but found the assembly more difficult than it had to be because of the poor instructions. And it said one of the bolts required a 7/16" wrench. Wrong, it is 10mm. But once assembled it is a great table.

This table is awesome. There is another one similar to it that is almost twice the cost, but I would consider this one first. It is assembled on arrival. The features work perfectly, very smooth and easy to tilt the table, adjust the height/ lift up and down and it rolls easily. It is a breeze to clean and very sturdy. Lastly, it folds flat offering compact storage. It actually reminds me of how products used to be made. And no, I don't work for the company, did not get this free/reduced in exchange for this review, LOL. It really is just that good of a table and value for the price.

Took me 30+ minutes to assemble because the instructions are borderline nonexistent. The height adjustment lever doesn't even do anything and I ended up with three extra pieces that weren't even on the parts list.

Sent through USPS, I hoped the first hassle of receiving the table would be it. The instructions were understandable but unclear about the small pieces. I ended up with two extra pieces. There was a taped hole that seemed to indicate a screw that would need attention but it was just a hole.When I got to base assembly, on of the screw holes were improperly bored, which at least I could push it through to get it in. I ultimately had to return it because the tabletop was improperly welded and or bent to where the top was not level.It was such a hassle and waste of time that I opted to purchase a different product in lieu of trying again with this company

I have an upcoming surgery and needed something to help while working from my bed or recliner. I appreciate that the tray can be tilted each way. Works great for height adjustment too.

I have to admit, one reason I purchased this item is that it did not require assembly. Other units had good rankings, but reviews explained that assembly was difficult due to design problems. So, I took the lazy way out. The table is great for working in bed on your computer or reading a book. Also is a convenient spot for TV remotes, your box of tissues--the stuff that can clutter a night stand.The good: This is a nice table. It holds a fair amount of weight. The height adjustment is solid, so you know it's not going to slip down. Has a strong base with good casters for ease of movement. The bad: There is a black plastic edge on the table that prevents items from slipping off the table, which is not a bad thing. But the plastic is thin and very brittle. It easily chips. Mine has two chips, but I wasn't sure if it was damaged in shipping or by me, when I took it out of the box, so I didn't think it was fair to return it.

I have a wound that requires me to stay down with foot up. I still have to work and my friend who has one suggested it. It's perfect and heavy duty. It's the only one that was high enough to clear my mattress because it's tall. I love it but my friend was right. You do get a little too used to it. First, tissues, then phone, glasses lol and the list goes on and on. I love it

Great table extremely sturdy

like most of the comments here. i find table suitable for my use. unfortunately like most of the complaints here, the pvc/plastic rm or edge of the table was broken off along one of the corners. too bothersome to return so i just super glued it. not sure how long that will hold You would think with some of the reviews going back to 2017 about the same defect, Amazon would have contacted the supplier to do something about it.

I have recently had bypass surgery and was in need of a overbed table. I really was verey pleased with the DMI Steel Frame Tilt-top overbed table.It was very nice to see it didn 't require assembley as I had to ask someone to setup for me, which made it alot easier for them to do. I was impressed with the style and strength of the steel frame. The plus side was that this table isn't the full size like you see on all the other tablesout there. The other feature I love is the fact that it folds flat which makes is perfect to store in a small apartment. I am so very pleased with thisproduct. I want to thank customer service for their outstanding response to a shipment mix up (great overall service, very impressed)

The little picture that amazon shows is not the way it looks but I took the ID number and looked it up with the manufacturer. The base is an H frame about the same size as the table itself with crome base and vertical. The directions that are given for putting it together are just the vary basic so you really need to envision what each step does and how everything works together so it took about 30 minutes to assemble. The end product is strong and sturdy. The up and down is as easy as touching the lever. The tilt is done by turning a larger handle on the end. It is very sturdy giving no concern about leaving items on the tableIf you are looking for a computer table or bedside table, this will provide what you need. A little drawer would have been nice for pencil, pen, and the like but still well worth the price. Most similar in stores are double the price. I expect to get many years from this table and looking at how it is made, it is made to last for years.
