I Saw It First! Jungle: A Family Spotting Game

We received this game for my 5 year old to help strengthen his visual scanning skills. Even his 2.5 year old brother can follow the rules and play with the rest of the family. It's a great game to have!

This game has far exceeded my expectations. Took a chance on it to play with my 4-yr old grandson and he loves it. He's learning the names of the jungle animals, birds, insects and it's great for teaching attention to detail to find them on the board. Hours of interaction & entertainment!

Family fun! We got this to add to our family game night. We have kids 6 and under. Our 3-year old can even play, which makes this game a perfect addition to our game night. This game is also great for my kids to play alone. The board pieces can be moved around so someone can’t memorize the location of certain animals.

This is our go-to evening game with our 7-year-old daughter. It gets a little more difficult for adults during the second glass of wine! I love that it is kind of age-less and can be played by anyone who comes to our home.

This is a great game for when there are mixed ages... young or old very entertaining

My grandkids and their parents love playing this game. Parents tire of the game much quicker than the kids.

We bought this for our almost five year old and she is enjoying it during Family Game Night. Our almost 3 year old also joins. The best part is watching our 5 year old give the 2 year old clues to help him find the animal. We ordered a couple more and gave them away to friends for Christmas.

Fun family game across generations. Plus, both my 3 & 5 year old can play it.

This cake is wonderful for the whole family. I especially like it because as an avid ‘skim’ reader I can actually beat the rest of my family at this game, unlike dibble, which the five year old runs rings around me.A bonus point goes to this as you learn the names of different species in a really fun way.

Bought this alongside the Ocean version for our grandchildren. The games were certainly a bit with our two older grandchildren. My main criticism is the foldable box that comes with the game for drawing the cards out of. I ended up making cloth bags to keep the cards in as the boxes allowed quite a few of the cards to fall out of the bottom while we were playing the game. Also it was a bit of a nuisance having to fill and empty the box every time we wanted to play. Having a cloth bag (similar to Scrabble) meant that the game is virtually ready to play instantaneously. Essential with an observant three year old. Apart from that an excellent game, enjoyed by all the family.

Fab board game! My 2 year old loves it and it’s a game we can all happily play as a family. The rules are really simple - someone pulls a ‘token’ out with a picture of an animal - the first one to spot the animal on the board wins that token. The person with the most tokens wins. My little girl spotted quite a few before we did!

This was bought as a birthday present for an 8-year-old buy has been enjoyed by the whole family. The simple premise makes it easy to start play and it's full of interesting, beautifully illustrated creatures. The only drawback is my 5-year-old son's habit of randomly declaring "cock of the rock" – [spoiler alert] it's a bird. Would happily purchase another in the same range.

Bought this game for our post Christmas dinner game, it was great a board game that the entire family can play regardless of age and it looks lovely too, a simple well designed game.
