Great product!
I really liked this projection clock. It displays much information about humidity and weather forecast by the barometric pressure. Very colorful and easy to set up. It did take some getting use to as the ceiling display seemed a bit squished and hard to read right away. But after a few nights I found the display easier to read.

Easy to Set Up and Excellent Performance
These interior/exterior Projection Alarm Clock/Thermometers have a very clear display on house ceilings, with a sequential display of times/temperatures, alternating between interior and exterior temperatures on ceilings. My house has very high (13 foot) ceilings and the ceiling displays are very bright and well-focused at night. During the day, you must look at the colorful 4.5 inch LCD display on the base unit, as there is too much light to see the alternating display on the ceiling. The LCD display is identical to the photos shown in the Amazon description, with a constant display of time, interior and exterior temperatures, and interior and exterior humidity (shown in percentages). The small battery powered sensors are powered by two AA alkaline batteries and last well over a year before requiring replacement. These sensors also have a small LCD digital display that continuously shows the temperature and humidity. In my experience, the sensors have a good radio frequency range of at least a hundred and fifty feet and can penetrate multiple walls and several floors in my large Victorian house.Initial set up on the SC91 is extremely easy, as is battery replacement, with no settings lost during battery replacement. Each base unit and sensor can be individual to one of three radio frequencies. I have two units and two sensors operating on two different frequencies without difficulty or interference with each other. Reliability appears to be excellent, as I have had one of my systems operating continuously for 18 months, with no dropouts and no display degradations over time. Highly recommended!!!

A little tweaking and this would be the perfect alarm clock.
I wouldn't say that it's defective exactly; It works, and as advertised. It's just very hard to read unless looking straight at it. This is a common flaw with LCD displays.Has day and date.12/24, good. The display showing it's in 24 hour mode isn't necessary.Buttons are on the top, not back like I've seen some, good. Big snooze button, good. Button functions are a bit confusing.Projector is cool, but weak, even at 8 feet. Needs 90 degree rotation as well as 180.The weather display is kind of meaningless; Based on internal projections based on temperature and humidity trends.Has external wireless sensor but range is limited. You'd expect this, as by definition the signal must pass through a wall.

Keeps time
I bought one of these year and a half ago. It is still going. Strong works very good is not very loud, but the clock is very visible. A it’s very nice item. I love it.

Perfect!
Talk about “At a glance product” this is everything you need to know temperature wise inside and out - great clock and alarm and projection on ceiling perfect for waking in the middle of the night to see the time - no need to put on glasses! Small sleek design doesn’t take up much space on bedside table Great value for money!

Well designed and easy to use! 10/10.
Very well designed to meet customer needs. The controls are easy to use and very intuitive. The display is easy to read and has easy to adjust brightness levels for use at night. The projector works really well displaying time and temperature on the ceiling. I've had a number of similar products that were annoying/poorly designed / cheap. This one is at the other end of the spectrum it's great!

Nice unit. Nice features. Indoor temp is not accurate on my unit.
This review is for the Smartro Time and Temp Projection Alarm Clock. SC91Nice, small, compact, lightweight device. The internal battery is the small, round, lithium type. I like the internal and external temperatures. The brightness controls are good, so it won't keep you up at night.I'm not sure how the weather indicator is supposed to work. You set it to the current weather, and it magically adjusts? Based on humidity level changes, I guess. How does it know if it is cloudy? More of a gimmick, I feel. A lot of detail to cram into a 4 inch diameter screen. The overhead display is nice, but doesn't rotate 360 degrees, so if it facing your bed (on your nightstand), the overhead is sideways. Not a deal breaker for me at all - still easy to read the way it is, but if you want it directly over your head at night, you'll need it at the foot of your bed, for example. The biggest issue is the inside temperature unit is reading 10 degrees (F) lower than it should be. The outside device is fairly accurate, according to another thermometer. Humidity levels seem accurate enough. See image showing outside unit sitting next to inside unit and note differecesI contacted the company's support regarding the temperature differences. Lets see what they say. I'll be returning this unit. I'd keep it if it was accurate. No reason to live with a new item with the temperature 10 degrees off. One or two would be acceptable, as that is pretty standard for inexpensive weather gauges.Note - Amazon sent me a unit someone obviously returned (Not MFG's fault). The internal battery was activated (and working, saving previous owner's data, including the 6 AM alarm that went off when I didn't expect it to). I assume it was returned for the same reason I'll be returning this unit. What a waste of my time.Update - Contacted MFG support. They stated they are sending me another device. Very responsive.Review update - the periodic synchronization between the outside unit and main device is very bright. Actually wakes me up at night. I covered it. Otherwise happy!
