A great find
Our wound doctor recommends this product rather than compression socks. I was surprised. They cut double the length of the limb to be compressed or roll it up and roll it down. So a double layer of compression. The doctor says this is appropriate for flights as well as recovery. I’m thrilled. It’s so much easier to put on the compression socks.I recently had cancer removed from the back of my leg and was told to wear a compression socks by the surgeon. I was warned that without the compression socks, the wound could split. I decided to go back to using these tube compressions. They’re comfortable, excellent quality. Good durability, appropriate thickness. The only caveat is making sure you get the right size. The right size will give you the correct compression. I like that once I’m done, I can cut them off and size another stocking or I can wash and reuse it. I can’t tell you how much more I prefer these to compression socks.

Tubigrip Size D.
This is what most hospitals use and so does the medical facility i use. My doctor uses this product. I love this product. My orthopedic doctor is using this on my ankle weeks after surgery for added support. Great product. Do not use a cheaper product. It doesn’t work as good.

Better that compression stockings for elderly
Purchased for my late mother who was wheel chair bound and had swelling in her legs. On advice of a nurse, we used this for her swollen legs. Easier to do and worked better than traditional TEDS or compression stockings. No deep depressions left in legs at tops. Worked very well to keep swelling down. I later used this same product for knee swelling after a total knee replacement surgery. Highly recommend!

An Economical Alternative to Compression Stockings
My podiatrist recommended Tubigrip as an alternative to conventional compression stockings. You can cut them to a manageable and appropriate length and they are much easier to get on than the traditionals.
