Good sized storage option at reasonable price
It's becoming difficult to purchase media storage shelves for compact discs. This one is a pretty good value. A couple years ago I got some solid wood units that were more sturdy and permanent. Now, I can't find many, and the few that are available are very expensive. This one is decently sturdy and the value is reasonable. My discs are now organized and the size allows for some growth to my collection. A good purchase.

I need a second one, but won't buy it again
Right out of the box there are little chips out of the ultra thin finish. The top and bottom are made of MDF, the sides are flake board, back is hard cardboard.I was being extremely careful, but no matter how hard I tried nails would still come through the side of the panels. The sides are too thin, you have to nail through hard cardboard, and the flake board is weak and will "steer" the nails. Fortunately all the breakage was on the inside. This is in my "music room" so it doesn't need to look fancy, but it looks too cheap and low quality to go with real furniture.I really need something to hold movies in the family room, but it won't be one of these.

Perfect fit
I used the Amazon “See it in your room” feature and it was pretty much spot on. Fits the space well. I needed a smaller case to organize my overflow CDs that had been stowed around the house in drawers, cabinets, closets and boxes. I wanted all the matching brothers and sisters to finally be in one place so I can enjoy them more. Building the kit was pretty straightforward and I guess we’ve done enough of them to know what comes next. Instructions were pretty clear. The price was good for me. I know it’s not “real” wood but I think it looks pretty quality. All my ducks in a row A-Z!

Assembly required, plus anchoring to wall.
I returned it unopened, waiting for my credit. I decided that I wasn’t up for an assembly project.
