Easy if you watch a tutorial. Replaced the battery on my MacBook Air. There is a cellophane they don’t distinguish on whether or not to remove. I tried removing one piece but it seemed to be attached. I did not end up removing it. It has not changed functionality and it removed the notification on my Mac regarding my battery life. 10/10 would recommend. Great price, easy install, durable, and i loved the tools that came with it.

My friend's Macbook Air was showing that the battery would not charge past 1%, and the computer would die when unplugged from power. Used this kit and was able to completely solve the issue in less than an hour total. I would highly recommend checking out the iFixit Guide for a more thorough tutorial.

Replacement went well . Battery functions as should

If my laptop reads "Battery Installed" "No" found under "About This Mac," it still will work when plugged in. You can hit "System Report" below "About This Mac," then you can see if it states "Battery Installed" or not under "Power." The laptop still functions when plugged in if it states "No" for "Battery Installed." This is the same battery that is sold for less via another seller. I went with this company as the other seller's battery went dead after a charge of 65%. Unfortunately, the screwdriver would not remove two of the screws on the back as it is not meant for more than one use it appears. I had to wait for this battery to arrive to unscrew the back with one of the two new screwdrivers. The battery from this company functions fine. Though it states to drain battery to 2% on the instructions. My laptop went dead at 22% then I recharged. This review page asked for battery life rating. It is new so how would I know? It should last five years from what is stated in general about batteries.

I have installed an aftermarket battery in my other Macbook a few years ago from another manufacturer and am very happy with it. I could not find a battery for my new laptop from the same manufacturer so I figured I would try this one. I am beyond disappointed. I should have returned it as soon as I opened the box. It looked like a very cheap attempt to duplicate what it should look like. There were zero instructions. I just youtubed them but the quality of the battery looked very poor. But I had it so I installed it.Right away the first 2 charge cycles it did not last any longer than my 5 year old OEM battery. After the computer relearned the new battery it seemed to be on track to be a good battery. But then while I was working on it and it was clearly around 25%, it completely died. Plugged it in and it was at 0%. Let it charge back up and it seemed to be fine again and lasting a long time, right up until it died in the mid 20% range again. That was all I needed. I looked further and was able to find a batt from the manufacturer that I have been happy with in the past and the first thing I did on the computer when I installed the second new battery was to process the return for this one, and then wrote this review.If it looks like a turd its probably going to be one, I should have known better, but I figured I'd try it. What I got for my trust was having to redo the job twice.No thanks, returning it. Do not buy this one. Plenty of other ones out there, and apparently they are NOT all the same.

The value is very good and work as intended, the replacement was very easy and fit accordingly.

Excellent product, but no instructions were included, and the replacement task is not trivial. Original battery is glued in, and getting it out is hard. I had to watch some YouTube videos (readily available) to see what to do. There are also a several cable removal and replacement steps. One cable in particular is tiny. You need good eyes, good light, and a steady hand to remove and re-insert it. There are neary invisible latches to flip....

The Infinity X7 flashlight alkaline battery case is a quality product. I installed the batteries that came with the case and checked for proper operation in the flashlight. Every thing worked properly. The unit was well packed for protection and was received two days earlier than expected.
