Amazing figure!
I am a huge fan of the Arkham games and have been a fan of Batman since I was a kid watching the 89 movie and the animated series. I also love the comics with court of owls being one of my favorite story arcs. My favorite look for batman comes from the Arkham games so I had to get this! I'm not an expert on high quality figures and only have only collected a few action figures in general. I messed with this figure for a while to get a pose I really liked and I feel like you can get some really dynamic poses. The little stand really helps keep it standing with some more lopsided poses. the detail on the figure looks great. Highly recommend.

a birthday gift
my son has this figure, I bought one for my husband's collection. The both are bought here and a wonderful figure. The cape gets on the way a bit for standing him, but they really like all the articulation points on this figure. For me this one is my favorite , my son has many batman's as it is his favorite superhero....

Perfect condition
My husband is picky when it comes to his action figures. He's the type of man who keeps his toys in the box. Have you ever seen the SNL skit about keeping the toys in the box? Yeah. That's my husband. And yes I love him very much. The action figure / figure's box came in pristine condition.

Excellent Batman figure and a big improvement over McFarlane's previous one
At the time of this review, this Batman Arkham Asylum action figure is $15.99 on Amazon. At that price it's a real deal. McFarlane's last Batman action figure in this line (the comic one, not the animated one) was kind of a stinker. It looked really weird with a strange tiny head sculpt and odd articulation especially on the torso. I'm glad that for this new video game inspired Batman they really looked at the shortcomings of that figure and made this one to compensate.Looking at the picture of Batman from Batman Arkham Asylum on that back of this figure's packaging, this looks to be a very accurate sculpt of that version of the character, from proportions to colors it's almost spot on. There's a nice silver dry-brush paint on the gauntlets, boots, and weapons to make them look like metal, which is a nice touch.Articulation is similar to other figure's in this new McFarlane DC lineup. It's good but can be improved. In some ways it's even better than Marvel Legends or NECA (lines similar in this price range) but limited in many ways. Ball jointed head, wrists, and ankles are very nice. Butterfly jointed shoulders are great. these joints allow for a great range of movement. The ab joint can barely crunch, so Batman can't lean forward. The elbows are single jointed so they can barely bend up to 90 degrees. The thighs don't have a swivel so they can't be turned much. A few improvements and this could be almost a super-articulated line. AlmostAccessories are okay. Two batarangs -- one opened, one closed. Grapnel launcher, batbomb, small display stand, and a collectible card with Batman AA on it. Not bad. All the weapons have a nice silver brushing on them to make them look metallic and weathered. Wish there were extra interchangeable hands. Batman can't punch baddies because no fists are included. I would've preferred a pair of fists over the folded batarang which I will never use.Overall an excellent release that actually gets me excited for more in this McFarlane DC Multiverse line. For $20 ($16 right now!) it's a good value. In the photos you'll see a comparison with some other recent McFarlane Toys figures: Batman, Spawn, Doom Guy, and Superman.

10/10
Just an amazing figure representing Batman from the Arkham Asylum game. The figure is solid, decently detailed, decently accurate, and looks good on display in a variety of poses. No complaints, definitely the Arkham Asylum Batman I've been waiting for since the DC collectibles version.
