So much better that the piece of junk my Porsche dealer put on my 911
Blows my mind how something as simple as a license plate and turn you off when you get a new sports car like a 911. The dealer branded chrome piece of junk had to go. This fit the bill. Slim, looks well made, but drilling into your new 911 to install it was, let’s just say, a bit nerveracking. Nice plate holder for your Porsche though.

Great quality plate holder
This is an official Porsche accessory, which I didn't even realize when I ordered it, thinking I was getting an aftermarket part. This is well packaged, easy to installed and made of high quality materials.

License plate is fantastic! Easy to install. Those comments about the caps not working are due to user error. Negative reviews clearly from users trying to snap on and not screw on plastic caps that cover stainless steel screws.Everything was of high quality and easy to install. Though as others have noted, there is an error in the instructions. The spacer should be placed between the plate and the car.

Genuine Porsche OEM accessory.
This is a "genuine" Porsche accessory that is available at a dealer. Very heavy weight material, excellent finish, fancy mounting hardware. Very high qualityBut frankly I purchased this item at almost full retail. I could have gotten for less at one of the popular Porsche online parts houses. You know the ones.

Nice fit and finish for my 2019 Cayman
The perfect style of plate holder if you have information on your license plate you do not want obscured. Best to use the hard rubber buffers if you can. There was a complaint that the black caps don't work. They do, with effort, but the screw they cover must not be over tightened. Even the slightest amount of extra tension and the covers will distort and not close. The impulse is to want to really secure the plate, but even though the buffers are hard rubber, they have enough elasticity to back press against the screw to lock it in place. I doubted this, but several trips after the install, and all is well.

Perfect fit and look.
It comes with black screw caps as well. Matte black color frame gives to the car more luxury look.

Item appeared new but the package had definitely been sliced open prior to shipment. Otherwise perfect fit.
