Works exactly as it should, I've got a crucial m.2 out of a faulty donor laptop and was able to still access all the files as required for a friend.It's got a quick release design meaning it's screwless and is extremely sturdy.It's easy to setup and get going and the rubber casing and the metal outer shell protects it from minor drops and impacts.Cable length could be longer bit is adequate.

Excellent little device that allowed me to clone my existing nvme drive to a new one.No fiddly screws need to be removed as the unit is all manual. It comes with a usb c to usb c cable however I have used it with a regular usb to usb c cable which works just as well. Would buy again.

I purchased this enclosure to allow me to swap my Legion Go NVME drive (by transferring a clone of the original.This drive worked perfectly for that purpose, but also allowed me to then use the removed drive as a very fast portable hard drive.I can read from it at c.900 MB/s which is awesome.It's got a lovely push button opening mechanism and is very sturdy, the rubber housing that slips over it stops it from getting damaged and absorbs shock.The included cable is also very high quality and thick.

Super fast transfer, I was shocked to see this transfer speed. Note- under device manager if u go to disk drives and select ur external name ssd (for higher write and read speeds u can enable write caching but this will increase heat) , for me I chose quick removal the read speed was 900 MB/sec average but it can go 1000+ if u enable write caching. Temps are perfect under my setting and I am using a 1tb nvme. If u have faster nvme and higher storage nvme , this enclosure can cause overheating so be careful when u purchase. For my 1tb nvme this enclosure is perfect. Cable length is not too long nor too short it was optimal length, weight was light , ease of use is more like permanent- not easy to swap multiple nvme ssd and this can damage the slot( make sure it’s permanent ) ALSO PLEASE REMOVE THE PLASTIC , there are two plastic when u apply thermal pad this is very important

My laptop died and the M2SSD had data that I wanted to retrieve. This looked like it might do the job and was inexpensive so I gave it a go. It was very easy to use and worked perfectly, so not only did I retrieve my data but now I have a handy 1TB external hard drive!Will definitely buy again if I need to.

Excellent drive caddy - looks nice and easy to add a drive just using the clips provided. Bought two of these and getting decent speeds over usb-c on a Mac

Excellent build quality. Easy to insert drive. I imagine the metal build helps dissipate heat. Speed not as fast as when the drive is fixed to a motherboard, but this is to be expected and a limitation of the USB standard. Certainly have no complaints over the speed, however - but if you were purchasing an M2 NVME drive just for use with this enclosure, you should not be concerned how fast it is as the speed will be limited.

Very compact and practical for now I'm using it with an old MVNe ssd that I had at home for 512 GB and it's going great I'm satisfied, the only note is that after a while it really heats up a lot.
