Just adding an update to my review. After 20 months of great service the razor snapped in two at the adjoining screw. I know this can happen if you drop them, but I was just loading a new blade. Knocked a star off accordingly.I bought this hoping it would be a good match for my wooden shaving brush and stand, which it is. I am very pleased to say that it is also a great razor. It's light and shorter than most, which somehow works as an advantage. I used to nick myself every now and then but have not had one accident with this and have been using it for two weeks now. Not often you get a product that is worth every penny paid. Recommended!

Unused product. On opening and checking razor, there is rust on screw shaft. Couldn’t return due to hygiene restrictions.Blades don’t fit snuggly in housing; they stick out at sides, so making it difficult to tighten and loosen when replacing blade - cutting hazard.Looks nice.

I bought this to replace the many plastic razors I’ve used and thrown away. It’s very nicely made and beautifully balanced. For anyone who’s uncertain about buying a razor that uses blades, this would be a great option. It’s extremely easy to use and gives a superb shave, wet or dry. I prefer to dry shave because I find it easier and quicker, especially with a razor like this. If you wet shave then it will work perfectly too.A word of warning, be very careful when changing blades, it’s very easy to do, by unscrewing the handle, removing the old blade and replacing it with a new one. But be careful the blades are razor sharp!

Nice razor, works well,nice close shave,but the varnish comes off the handle very quickly indeed, 3 shaves and the finish is almost gone,

It's very solid, cheap for what it delivers. Compared to 200 euro models - it has a tiny freeplay on the blade, so as you close it you need to adjust. That's it.Great angle, very solid, looks great too, having great shaves with it.
