Wow, these things really are a game changer! I live on a boat, and used those plastic tarps (blue standard, and brown heavy duty) for many years, primarily as a means to keep the sun off of my boat during the hot months of the year, as I don't have AC.They work OK, for a while. But then they block a lot of airflow, get noisily flapping and flogging when the wind blows, and tend to fail in a number of different ways over time. Wind ripping the grommets out, tears, lasting only a few weeks or perhaps a bit over a month before needing $$ replacement...And then I found these sunshades, and it's a whole new world! These things are the bomb-diddly! The FAR outlast the tarps in the harsh southern UV, they are *quiet* when it gets windy, they are built strong (I've yet to have one fail in 3 years, even in winds of 50 mph or more), and best - they let air in while providing great shade and keeping most of the heat from sunshine out.I now have a half dozen of these sunshades - I use them on my boat, at my work shed, and even out on the dock to provide a shaded seating area. While they initially seem to cost more than those tarps, they really don't, as they last years without needing replacement, and do the job much better in every way.

I can’t say enough about this shade. I had one for 3 yrs and replaced it because it had stretched. This shade is just like it. Living in the south, we get hurricanes, tornadoes, wind shear, torrential rain, yet it doesn’t tear. My space is awkward, so I have it attached to the house and fence. It’s well made and I expect it will last for years! It’s left out year round so gets abused.

BLUF: seems fine, I wish it were shaped differently.We purchased this shade to help give our doggos some protection from the sun during the heat of the day. I do wish the proportions of the shade were different as it is not a “wide or full triangle” but has long straps on two ends. For us it will do fine for its purpose. It does seem well made.

Got the 12x16 to add some cheap, much needed shade to our (sadly) tree-less back yard. Biggest pain was digging 2 holes for the 4x4 posts, central Texas limestone makes that quite the task with basic tools. I attached the other end to the house. So far, so good. We’ll see how it holds up with the wind here

This shade was delivered quickly and is exactly as described. It's well made of heavy material and solid attaching rings.I'm happy with my purchase.

This is absolutely amazing for the hot Arizona heat to have this over your pool and shade you from the harmful UV rays is an amazing purchase in a must have for backyards

Got the Terra color. Beware the color does not match the photo. There are distinct very black threads running through it which almost gives it a striped appearance, not a solid Terra. Deciding whether to send it back.Update: Didn't send it back, decided to use anyway. But ordered another, and the dimensions were way off the first one. Just ordered a third, will see what happens.

Love this sun shade. It is a huge help with our ocean sun.
