It’s a decent size; a bit larger than others I’ve purchased. It is meant to be chewed up but they seem pretty sturdy based on how much my rabbit chews on it (a lot). I have a wire bottom cage and these offer the protection I wanted for my rabbit’s hocks. The cage is wood and she had started chewing on the floor bottom. Since I got these, the wood is covered up and she’s entertained enough that she stopped chewing on her new cage.For photo reference, my rabbit is an intact 5 year old Netherland Dwarf doe. Her weight is about 2 pounds.

Great value for money, and they provide great enrichment for my chinchilla and he loves snacking on them as well! Additionally, its a great way to line the bottom of his wire cage to protect his feet!

I decided to try these to line the bottom of my rats cage so the surface would be better for their feet. I had been using fleece but they destroyed it (chewing, peeing, digging) so fast I had to replace it daily. These mats need to be cut to fit but they really do work better - the girls do pull pieces for their nesting purposes but they use their litter boxes more than the mats, which makes weekly cage cleaning much easier. I wish they came in cage specific sizes, but cutting and fitting 3 together is pretty easy. I did attempt to hang one on the side of the cage for climbing, but I don’t think they seemed sturdy enough to use that way.

She absolutely loves these mats! I needed a bigger mat, but couldn't find one available. I ordered this listing, which provides 6 decently sized mats, and sewed them together with natural jute and sisil, which are both safe materials for bunnies to ingest, in order to make one larger mat. She loves chewing on these mats, laying down to sleep on them- it's her play area. I plan to order more in the future!
