I have been struggling with sound sensitivity for a while, but it really ramped up in 2019. For the last year, I couldn't handle the TV volume above 10. It would trigger migraines or migraine like headaches even. I tried the Loop earplus, which blocked out noise, but then I couldn't hear anyone talking to me. I wanted something that would reduce the pitch/volume of the noise.So I decided to suck this up and I bought these ear plugs and the Calmer Pro version. First, they are tiny. No one notices I am wearing them, and the silicone makes them super comfortable. I returned the pro and kept this version for a couple of reasons:1. This version is all silicone and more flexible. The Pro has a lining that is more rigid, and I felt it more in my ear.2. The noise/pitch/volume on this was better.I love these ear plugs. I can listen to the TV at 20 now, which is a huge improvement. Less than a week after I purchased them, I went to a major art museum for a sponsor day. There were a ton of people there, and the museum even had a dj for the kids. I did not get overwhelmed once with a headache, or with the noise level. At all. I have found that when I take them out, I hear more noises that I previously didn't realize. For example, my room has a small air filter which is really pretty quiet. But, after wearing the plugs and taking them out, I noticed a slight hum to it.I have also found it has helped me to focus more. Since extraneous sounds are more muted, I am not as easily distracted by noise anymore.I'm not a professional reviewer, a paid reviewer, or even review items often. But these little ear plugs have made such a difference in the quality of my life, I had to review them here, and I even posted on Reddit in a forum about misophonia to recommend them as well. I do not have any difficulty hearing people talking to me, even on the phone. But the grating pitch of a small dog pitch no longer feels like nails on a chalkboard to me.

I was really hoping these would help with my noise sensitivity and help me with focusing while working during the day. I get really irritated and distracted by all the noise surrounding me, and I unfortunately couldn't identify any recognizable difference between wearing them and not wearing them. I gave it a good two weeks of using them everyday while working and I even wore them all day a few times, but they didn't help me at all. Kind of disappointing, but every human body is different. Just because they didn't work for me doesn't mean they're not working for other people. I'll just keep looking for a solution for myself.

Mas que cancelar el ruido lo "ordenan" y atenuan. No esperes una reducción similar a los alpine, loop quiet, loop engange o eargasm (en la foto segun el orden). Si deseas una reducción de ruido importante te aconsejo ir por otras opciones (como las que pongo en las fotos). Sirven literal para calmar como una percibe los ruidos, no disminuirlos. Pros: funcionan como son descritos, al ser abiertos no se tiene el efecto de otros (como loop) de taponear el oido y sentir mas fuerte la voz propia) y casi no se sienten o ven. Cons: el tamaño pequeño parece ser muuuy pequeño, vean bien si esta es la opción para uds. Igualmente compraré los calm tamaño normal para ver si funcionan mejor en mis oídos. El precio es bastante y ni siquiera dan un buen estuche para guarlados(debe ser comprado aparte)

So I got these while I was at A conference. It is so hard to be in a crowded space like a ballroom. the noise of everyone talking, the air ventilation running, the Highway traffic outside… it really stresses me out and I get overstimulated and exhausted.I ordered these out of desperation half way through the conference and was pleasantly surprised to find that they worked for me.They are a bit too snug, and my left ear canal seems to be smaller than my right ear. I ordered a pair of minis so I could have a regular in one ear and a mini in the other.The mini doesn’t reduce the stress level as much but it is more wearable.I will have to be judicious about when and how long I wear these but when I need them I know they will be helpful.One point on fit: the regular size in my left ear kept falling out while I ate. I didn’t have that problem with the regular size in my right ear, or with the mini in my left ear. Just fyi.I only wish they made a little more variety in size- like maybe men’s and women’s in ahora to the minis.

I've been using this product for a couple years now, and they help me get a good nights sleep. They do not block all noise so I still hear the sounds I need to hear. Background noise does not disturb my sleep any more.
