This printer is excellent, makes great black ink / color ink copies. Printer is attractive, sturdy, a little heavy in weight like a printer would be. This is an "office" printer, for anyone thinking this is a lightweight, bedroom printer.......NO, this is an office printer. Set-up was a little adventurous, because it's not really detailed how to load the paper in front and so we searched for a Youtube video and found one. At that point, it was as smooth as glass. Note: you have to have the printer turned on, in order to go through the step-by-step instructions for set-up. PRINTER DOES NOT COME WITH PAPER. Make sure you buy paper if you don't have some. We bought HP paper on Amazon. Printer comes with one black ink cartridge, and one color ink cartridge. Make sure you read the RED & WHITE colored flyer that says SETUP INSTRUCTIONS. From that point, you can either connect the printer directly to your computer (if you have the correct jack), or you can download the app and print from there (we had to download the app). Make sure you SAVE the printer to your DEVICES on your computer. We're not trying to give instructions, insulting people for not knowing these things. On the contrary, we're not "tech-y" people here in this house, and so we had to figure out all these things that tech-y people would think is just automatically known. We're very happy with this purchase. Thank you Amazon, for selling this printer. It was also better-priced and with faster shipping than other stores we checked out online.

I bought the Canon PIXMA TR4720 All-in-One Wireless Printer for my home-based business, Sterling's Script & Print, and it's been an excellent addition to my setup. I use it daily for printing resumes, cover letters, contracts, and more and it handles everything smoothly.Setup was simple, and I love the convenience of mobile printing and the Auto Document Feeder. The print quality is sharp and professional, which is essential for the services I offer. It’s quiet, efficient, and doesn’t take up too much space.What really impressed me was that it came with two sealed ink cartridges, one black and one color. That was a nice bonus and added great value right out of the box.Overall, this printer meets all my business needs and has made my workflow more efficient. Highly recommend it for anyone working from home or running a small business!

I wasted almost an hour with the phone app driven by the QR code. I have a Windows PC with a wireless home network. After losing my temper with the phone app not being able to connect, I decided to download the installer on my PC and it worked like a champ. I printed a test page from the PC and my wife's phone recognized the printer and successfully printed. I'm still at Windows 10. Please note during the ill-fated Smartphone attempt I did select the network name and entered the net password. YMMV, but I would try from PC 1st using full install pack from Canon.It is a very inexpensive 'all-in-one' printer and expect it to serve my limited needs. The low tray paper feeder will probably not collect as much dust as my former rear feed HP Deskjet 4100 series which lasted over 5 years. It was replaced due to inconsistent page feeds.

I bought this Canon to replace my old Brother printer. So far, I'm very pleased. The setup was very easy; I simply plugged it in, from my laptop I went to the site referenced in the instructions, and then clicked "next" about three times. I didn't have to enter any passwords; the printer found my laptop and connected automatically. I don't see how it could be any easier. The Canon prints sharper images than the Brother did, and loading the paper is much easier, too. No tray to remove, just put paper in the tray. Multi-page prints are printed so that when the printing is complete, the first page is on top of the stack; that's convenient. The only thing that the Brother was better at is sound - the Canon is a bit louder when it is printing. But all in all, this printer is a good value.

Looooving this printer, it has so many features for any business to run successfuly, easy to set-up and even quicker to use. Was worth every penny spent, Canon alone is a great company, but the product speaks for itself. Ink lasts through many uses, only changing it once since buying and its been about 6 months or more. Love the style and color, conveniently fits with room decor and small enough ffor most spaces. Has multiple features for scanning and works with many formats.

Great printer however it took a little effort to get it running in my Chromebook, why? All apps are for mac and windows. The built in monitor has all the selections and It runs fine. I recommend printing in the "draft" mode to save ink. I comes out the same as in the normal mode, but you will save a lot of ink! The unit has many videos for set up, what the keys are and for $60 it is a steal!

Pros and cons of this as a college student:Pros:- very easy to use and set up, great for ppl that don't know anything abt printers (me)- prints very well, no jams (so far and it’s been 6 months)- great for its priceCons:- it’s cheap for a reason, omfg the amount of ink this thing eats is insane, if you’re in a class where you need to print stuff, DO NOT GET THIS. just go to your school library and pay the $0.10.- louder af, pls sometimes ill forget to print something during the day. but i feel so bad wanting to print at night because ITS SO DAMN LOUD. atp i might to go down to the library to print it bc i don’t wanna wake my roommate upconclusion:if you’re a broke college student this might not be the best printer for you, if you’re already paying tons for books and whatever, adding on the price of ink. THIS AINT WORTH ITnow if your a rich mami with moola and looking for a simple printer, this might (??) be the one. idrk idk anything abt printers and i picked the first cheap one i saw. CLEARLY DONT DO WHAT I DID.
