I got lucky or others didn't get lucky
I bought this for a 2006 V Star to replace the previous mount for my passing lights/turn signals. I got the previous on of ePay for a reasonable price and the bracket eventually cracked and broke at the mounting point, leaving me with passing lights looking at the ground (sigh).Opposed to other reviewers, the welds and alignment were fine. Did I get lucky...or did they get unlucky. Beats me, but mine was fine. One thing, I ordered a black one (mostly because it was cheaper and I could reweld/repaint it if I got a buggered one). I received a chrome one. I'm not pissed, because I really wanted a chrome one, but if I had to reweld, the chrome would be toast and I'd have to paint it anyway. The biggest issue was unhooking and rehooking the electrical connections for the lights.Time will tell how well it holds up.

Poor material quality, equally poor finish durability
I used this bracket to mount LED passing lights and LED turn signals on the front end of a 1992 Kawasaki Vulcan VN750A, replacing the horn mount bracket and using the long channels of the center part of the bracket to keep the horns in the same position. Even though I bought this bracket a few months ago, this project has only been in service for three weeks (other work on the bike was also in progress). During this brief time the center part of the bracket has completely broken at both ends of the long channels and there is already rust forming on the chromed surfaces. The bike never sees rain riding and is always covered when not being ridden. The roads here in Florida are also pretty smooth, so this bracket hasn't been subject to excessive road shock or vibration.Between poor material ridgity and finish durability, I don't recommend this product for much of anything beyond a garage queen that's rarely ever ridden.

Fits ok
Depending on which lights you mount on this bar, you may have to bend the mounting tabs because they do not sit level to the ground if used on a Honda Shadow.

Cheap mount. Maybe good on a smaller bike, but not a VTX 1800.
I am on my third one. Cheap product, the part you mount the lights to break after about a year of riding. The this piece of metal the lights mount to need to be reinforced with a thicker piece and the welds are kind of weak.

Nice little set up if you know what you are doing!
I gave up tying to find the VTwin light bar for Harley Springers after about 8 months, So I took a chance and Ordered this Bar,, Well I have to say at first I didn't see it as working on my specific bike, But anyway after cutting it with a 3" cut off wheel and drilling a couple bolt holes and fabricating a couple of brackets, I'm really pleased with the outcome far as I can tell its perfect and the bar itself seems plenty strong and should last a long time,,I dont recommend anyone purchaing this set up unless they are experienced mechanics or at least have a buddy that is,it took me a few mock ups but all in all,,,well worth it !

Junk
Do not buy unless you want to weld more metal on it to brace it. Mine broke at the mount and the attachment points. I had to reinforce it.
