I have no plans to use it portable but Ive tried to at home at it has never worked. I plug it in, I’ve left it plugged in to try to give it a charge. 100% of the time it has never worked off of the charger. Other than that it’s an amazing product. I love the milk frothing option and the reusable filter that is not mesh for coffee. Well made, simple to use. I don’t recommend putting sugar or anything sticky inside As it burnt on the bottom of mine.

I had gotten one of these when it was still a Kickstarter, and it last me a good long while with daily use in the colder seasons, so when it finally died I was happy to find it (or at least similar) offered here.First thing's first : I was sent the wrong color. I ordered beige, but received green. Not a huge deal, but I was looking forward to it matching my kitchen.I used it for the first time today for milk tea, and the milk burned at the bottom. I followed the instructions (as I said, I am familar with thr product), so I am not sure why. And the unit is not easy to clean, since the plug input is unprotected and can't have water get inside, and the heating coil is in the way of the inside and is delicate (that's why my last one had to be thrown out -- the glue[!] holding the peg that holds the heating coil in the machine eventually wore away, and I couldn't find a safe option to replace it).It would be great if this unit came with a waterproof seal for the plug input, and if thr coil could be safely removed for cleaning and then replaced. I am hoping the burned milk thing was just a fluke, and not an issue with it's ability to regulate heat.My drink came out fine, though.
