Loved the idea it came in a box instead of a mailer. The shipment of yerba mate received about a week before this one came in a mailer and although the mailer was in good shape on the outside, the bag of yerba mate on the inside had gaping tear in it. The interior of the mailer was coated with product that had leaked out. Not sure how the hole got there. That is why I am glad this wonderful 2.2 pound sack of organic, whole-leaf yerba mate cam in a box.

Nothing wrong with the packaging or the delivery, I just didn’t like the flavor of it, I’m not a good mushroom coffee drinker I guess

I've been drinking yerba mate for years and usually just buy whatever loose-leaf brand is on sale. Recently, I decided to try tea bags because they promised the same mate benefits with no calories. Unfortunately, I need 2–3 bags to get the flavor I'm used to. That means the 100 tea bags I thought would last 100 days will only last a little over a month. If you're looking for the benefits of mate with a milder flavor, these might be a good option. For me, I'll stick with loose leaf.

Best Buy for the price. Nicely cut into very small pieces. Good taste. Buying it again

Esta yerba es puro polvo. No sirve con la bombilla. Lástima que compré un kilo. Se necesita una bolsita de té para tomar.This Yerba mate is just dust. Does not work well with the bombilla. I’m sorry I bought a kilo of it. You need a tea bag to drink it. Not really designed for traditional mate/bombilla setup.

The taste, quality, and strength are all OK – decent when considering the amount for the price. There is quite a lot of very fine dust that's too fine for most strainers and therefore ends up in the tea then into the mouth. The dust is probably not as much of an issue when using a bombilla rather than a tea strainer, but seems to be more of an issue than some other brands I've tried.
