I wasn't sure of the technology used in these passive devices but I thought that I would give them a shot.I had purchased a ResMed Air Mini for travel. That model does not come with a humidifier so I thought that these would be worth a try.They work perfectly! I couldn't be happier. They are somewhat expensive for everyday use but when traveling they are invaluable!

I have used these heat/moisture exchangers with my travel CPAP for several years. The past few batches have been ordered from Amazon with no problems. This batch, however, was substandard. So far, they are a total failure. I’ve tried them and they literally have broken apart in the middle of the night, thus waking me and interrupting CPAP therapy. Definitely concerned about ever ordering again from here.

These work best if they are close to your exhalation. I modified the hose for my nasal pillow mask by cutting the hose and attaching the cut end with glue and tape so the unit was about 3 inches from the nasal pillow. Works much better now. In addition, i took one to the hardware store and bought a couple of rubber corks to block the ends of the device. I do this each morning on the road. The device should last longer. Remains to be seen.

Same moisturizer that my CPAP supplier charges $5 to purchase for under $2. What's not to like?

I didn’t want to bring the humidifier attachment while traveling. These worked great for me. Not as good as when the humidifier is attached but close. The per piece price is reasonable and allowed me to change them often too

I have only used these a few times and not very long so I can’t really say how well they work.
