I received the nuts this week. Upon opening the package I was overwhelmed by a mix of petrochemical smell (think pesticides) and mold as well as larvae casings and silk. I am highly allergic to mold and hypersensitive to the presence of it, and do not intend to have my nuts laced with Codling Moth or Husk Fly Larvae/maggots.I cracked 2-3 nuts to see what was inside, and the taste was rancid with the overtones of both petrochemicals and mold. I put my Indoor air quality meter in the bag and at last reading HCHO was 1.257 and TVOC was 5.450 and still rising. safe levels are 0.028 and 0.116 respectively. PM2.5 and PM10 were negligent since the bag was not disturbed during the reading.Even thought this is a prime purchase and the item was initially sent to an Amazon Distribution center in Somerset NJ- Amazon claims there are no returns.I want my money back- this product is dangerous to consume.!!And I will report the seller to NJ Department of Health where it was packed. and distributed from.

Don’t forget you have to roast these... but the flavor is so good after roasting!I have 16 grandkids. I picked nutsmeats out after roasting dor 20 minutes, put pennies, dimes nickels and quarters inside and glue 2 pieces together after adding a colorful ribbon. After all gift area clean, get a hammer and brick and one by one each kiddo cracks open with hammer. Coins retrieved. The one with the most total $$ gets a penny. The one with the least gets a dollar bill. Tell a story about respect for money and wisdom to use properly. I am 77 and hope my grandkids pass On This tradition my grandfather shared with us as grandkids so many years ago.Nut meats went into recipes or became little ziplock bags full for Christmas gifts for others to use in baking.

I bought walnuts 3 times first 2 times they were really good easy to break and taste was fresh and better than any grocery store walnuts . 3rd time I bought and they were so hard to break and were kinda stale as well .

The nuts I used to buy at my local bird store only sells animal grade and they tend to have a lot of stale nuts and blackened grimy shells,,,NOT THESE,,,for 1 they are human grade and every nut that I can tell has Ben very fresh and the shells are not dirty or moldy looking....Because of all of these points I AM A LOYAL CUSTOMER and it is so nice not to have to worry about the quality of nuts and not having to sort through them I get to spend more quality time playing and sing with my Eden,,❤️❤️❤️

Day one i opened the box the nuts had a very funny taste and odor ammonia smell. I forgot to throw them out when I noticed that worms were crawling from the box onto on my table that’s when I also started to notice baby moths in my house that I assumed were the worms that hatched I ended up calling in an exterminator because I wasn’t sure how many more eggs or worms had hatched before I threw the box outside in the trash.
