I've had this item for a few years now and it has been a good buy. I have numerous keys, keychains and shorts and the magnet holds everything together. Obviously one of the best part is being able to separate the keys for different situations (usually when I forget something in the house and want to keep my car running). Highly recommend!

The media could not be loaded. This is great. I got frustrated when I had to take my locking carabiner off of my bag just to unlock the door. With this I am able to take it off with one hand and unlock the door, then put it back on my carabiner. So easy and makes life way easier. I’ve never had this “fall off” the magnetic base. I typically have to use a bit of finger strength to get it off and it snaps back pretty quickly when I’m done with it.

its a magnetic carabiner clip. somewhat bulky with the magnetic clasp, but can work if you have normal men's pockets. Seperating the two clips is easy to do with and without gloves. I don't know how long the plastics will last, but it has worked for a few years now. Keyrings on both sides are not that large, but can be replaced with larger if needed.Works as intended as a quick-release mechanism. No other complaints. Buy if needed.

I needed a lanyard solution for my phone: strong enough to keep it on my lanyard even if it gets snagged but still an easy quick disconnect. I tried several different clip solutions with varying degrees of success.Then I thought about magnets! I tried a few magnetic quick-disconnect keychains, it none of them were strong enough. I tried a different NiteIze one, and it worked really great! But, it was really big.When I saw this one, I knew I had to get it. It's small enough not to get in the way yet strong enough to hold onto my phone through some pretty strong pulls and snags. It takes a tremendous amount of pulling to get it to disconnect if you don't use the little tabs to twist it. But of you do use those tabs, it comes apart super easy! Even my poor arthritis hands on a bad day can pop it open with ease.Bottom line, if you need a magnetic keychain that will only come apart when you want it to, this is the one you need.

Super convenient for my job. I can leave the truck running and unlock the tool box doors on the back of my truck now.
