Nice. Very nice.
I’ve never spent anything like this much on headphones before but the H4 mk1 reduced to £119 drew me in. Would have quite liked the gray but not for £50 extra and definitely not £200 for the mk2. Well, the sound quality is nothing less than I expected. Not blow away awesome but very nice indeed. The B&O app is nicely done and the EQ capability is subtle. What I really love is the quality feel of the materials used. The styling and finish have obviously taken a lot of work and the comfort level is outstanding. They don’t slip on your head. Lying down, walking around or sitting down all day they stay put and don’t make your ear holes sweaty. The adjustability provides the perfect clamping force on the noggin such that you forget you’re wearing them after a while. Battery life is awesome so far. Lack of a carry bag or case is no problem for me and let’s face it, you can buy them very cheaply on amazon. Another plus for me is that they don’t have any LEDs blinking away under normal use. I never thought I could heart a pair of headphones but then I’ve never had a B&O product before. These are wicked!

Premium Entry Earphones – Amazing Balanced Sound
The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H4 Wireless Over-Ear-Headphones have totally taken me by surprise. I did not expect this amazing quality of sound from these entry, but premium headphones out of the B&O lineup of audio products. They play like confectionery candy for your ears, yummy and sweet, for pure, listening enjoyment. What truly impressed me was the clarity of the background, nuance sounds, like falling rain, far away thunder, or the distant chirping of birds. Subtle sounds move from ear to ear and as if they were in motion. Wow! The preset bass is a much richer bass then most Bluetooth units I have tried with mellow, low pitches, yet a nice wide range. If you are looking for ear-bursting, reverberating, pounding low frequencies - these headphones are not for you. The H4 features frequency from 20Hz to 20,000Hz, the limits of our human hearing range. The sound is mainly focused towards the mid ranges, but there is a clarity to the highs and instrumentals that gives quality depth to all the ranges. The contrast between the right and left side of the headphones provides great width coupled with a well-balanced level of sound, which is good as I have ever heard on a Bluetooth unit. These headphones perform superbly for all kinds of music genres. This degree of sound quality is what I would expect from much more expensive, high-performance headphones. However, B&O definitely has a premium set of headphones in this Beoplay H4, and, at an affordable price point.

It's like I'd never listened to music before!!!
Wow - As a guitar player for 19 years, and somewhat a music snob, I invested in a decent pair of headphones after my bose in ear headphones just weren't cutting it. Naturally, Bang & Olufsen was up there as a product I'd always considered, but the idea of forking out +£300 for a pair of headphones, even as a music snob, seemed a lot. However, I recently bit the bullet and invested, and my goodness is it worth it. The design is sleek. The build is fantastic. and the sounds quality is next level above the likes of bose. Also, I was somewhat hesitant about it not having noise cancelation features - don't worry as the music level, sound and richness means that even on lower volume levels, you cant hear surrounding noises.A must buy for anyone looking to get top quality headphones.10/10!!!!

Great sound and fantastic battery life.
The sound from these headphones is superb. I am an occasional listener so the battery lasts for months with a few hours use a week. The B&O app isn’t exactly feature packed but allows you to tweak the sound to how you like it reasonably well. I find the buttons easy to find when wearing the headphones but fiddly to operate accurately. Where this set really excels is the build quality. The materials used are really nice and have a great feel. It is a shame that there isn’t a bag or case included for when you are on the move but this is a minor gripe. The sound quality alone means they are worthy of five stars, they could be made from used chewing gum and they would still deserve five stars.

Normally Bang & Olufsen does not provide the best sound. You would suspect Sennheiser
Not high end, you would need a Stax headphone for that (around 4.000 pounds), but quite neutral for a cheap price. I didn't expect anything, but the quality surprised me. Normally Bang & Olufsen does not provide the best sound. You would suspect Sennheiser, AKG and Beyer to be better. This product though does provide the best quality achievable in this price range. It's comfortable, well manufactured and connects without any problem to all my devices. If you desire something more spectacular you should try Bose or Sony. The sound of these last two is more commercial, but not good enough for me. But after all you cannot discuss taste and colour. .

Great headphones
Beautiful design and amazing sound-quality. The headphones do leak sound, but only if you turn the volume to the max which would make you go deaf, so not really a problem. A huge letdown is the absence of a case though!

Excellent sound and build quality
So I'm always listening to music...while I travel, work, train, DJ - the entire lot. My life essentially has a soundtrack. So...I've been going through headphones over the years in search of a brand that can last a bit. Tried a bunch from the Senheisser in ear headphones, Beats in ear, Beats Solo (3 pairs), Beats DJ edition and not a single pair of those headphones lasted more than 6 months. Build quality across the aforementioned (ESPECIALLY the beats) was atrocious. Last January I gave the Beoplayers a whirl and I ONLY buy B&O headphones from now on! These headphones have been put through their paces and they're still going strong!! For me...not having to fork out a wedge of cash of expensive but terribly built headphones every 6 months is a DREAM COME TRUE!! So yeah...B&O now have a customer for LIFE! Thanks B&O!
