This inline fan was to ventilate a large bathroom of steam quickly. Quietness is of paramount importance for the nearby bedrooms, so the previous fan mounted in the ceiling had to go.This fan is robust and easy to install. Being powerful some vibration is to be expected but to reduce it I added rubber pads made from an old inner tube under the fan's stand. The whoosh of air is impressive, but I had to improve the vent and the curve of the vent tube to quieten that. Obviously, not the fan's fault but something that might be needed.On start up there is a second or two of electrical buzzing while the fan gets up to speed. Given that the purpose of the project was to minimise sound I'm a bit disappointed, but maybe I will get used to it.

Well, bought this as the 4" one I had originally wasn't up to the job. This did the job but has stopped working after 10 months. Rubbish quality

Already had the 100T in our ensuite and wanted to replace an Xpelair Silent (or supposedly silent) fan in the master bathroom. So much quieter given that the unit is mounted on the rafters in the roofspace. So much more powerful than a normal extractor fan. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the inline fans and wouldn’t go passed ManRose

Unit arrived with damaged cradle, luckily I’d ordered to replace existing with identical unit and could utilise the cradle from the old unit. Hoping this fans lasts as long as my old unit (4yrs), based on labels on the unit have some reservation as to whether it is a genuine Monrose manufactured item.

Bought to replace an Id 150 that had malfunctioned. Much more powerful and certainly clears the steam in bathroom. Easy to set up with easy to understand instructions. With timer set to extreme left gives 4 minutes " run-on" which is ample. Recommended.

Having recently had my very small en-site refitted as my old one was dated and as it had no fan. The amount of steam/condensation it generated resembled a sauna for ages afterwards. Having done much reseach, I had fitted the Manrose MF 150T, and was not disapointed. The steam doesn't even have time to leave the shower cubicle, leaving the rest of the ensuited perfectly dry. Not even the tiles, the mirror, or the new PVC ceiling have a patch of damp on them.

Seems like a decent fan. I haven't given it 5 stars for the following reasons.It's noisy and rumbles deeply - obviously this could have been reduced greatly if I'd used some kind of dampening material or washers between the fan and the board / joist I fixed it to but these weren't supplied, nor was there a recommendation in the instructions.If there was an indication of the direction of air flow on the unit or in the instructions, I could not find it - a bit annoying as I had to squirm out of an awkward loft space to switch it on, then back in again to find out (the air is sucked in to the end with the propeller).Finally, I had to make this journey 3 more times as the run-on time control knob was pure guess work - I was given that min and max times (1min and 30min I think) but at 50% it lasted around 25mins, at around 30% it lasted maybe 3mins and at around 40% I finally got it at about 10mins. I don't expect a linear scale but considering this unusually skewed scale, it would have been helpful to have been given some kind of printed scale on the unit or in the paper work.Having said that, the electrical connections where clearly labeled and straight forward, and the unit housing seems sturdy and well built.
