I have a Samsung SE and I stream everything from newstations to Prime and Hulu. I have not had any issues. The streaming mirrors from my phone to my television seamlessly. Set up was super easy. I am very happy with this purchase.

dont get me wrong its not without its faults the biggest one is the lack of some ability to use some of your favorite LIVE TV cord cutting services via your IOS devices but those drawbacks dont apply for windows and android devices. i dont purchase alot of these types of adapters but after a quick search shows its not exactly the cheapest option but there are also over the top devices that are the price of a smart monitor but dont have a screen so id have to say they may not be a cheap option depending on your funds but its about the price tag of a worthwhile devices that wont have you buying another cheap one over and over again.

This product requires both transmitter and reciever to operate. The product description does not mention you need to purchase this in two parts and did not come with both parts, only the transmitter. Therefore it is completely useless. I now know that they do sell the entire kit for more money, but they should have stated this was only half of the setup. Waste of money and time waiting for it to get here.

Screen tearing and no image updating unless the user interacts makes this is bad product. Quality seems solid, connection seems very responsive but the lacking refresh rate makes this a no go. Very disappointed for a product over valued over 70USD. Wouldnt even pay 10 dollars for this at the time of this review and my experience. Maybe mine was a fluke. But that begs to question the quality control if this is what made its way to my door. Buy with caution.

I wanted to try this to play all the movies on my "big" laptop to the small projector I have. Well, first off, I tried the Android phone connection since and that was a big flop. I saw this adapter under Networks on my phone, but when I pulled up the cast and clicked on it, it wanted to cast to anything BUT this adapter - meaning it wasn't even listed. One strike against this adapter...I went to my big laptop - an HP Envy 360 that I use daily. It found this adapter for about a nanosecond under add bluetooth and then poof, it was gone and never came back no matter how I tried (yes, I hit the button and the projector screen said pairing mode, but nothing, nada, zip on the laptop). Okay, I am a glutton for punishment so I thought, fine, I'll try my "baby" backup computer which is a fairly small Acer Windows pc/tablet type of computer. Wow...it actually worked on my baby backup (I believe it's a 10" screen?). It's the only one that connected and that was after about an hour of messing with both my Motorola phone and my HP Envy 15" laptop. I gave it three stars because it worked after a LOT of piddling around with it on three different items that should have had no problems detecting it and working with it. One out of three isn't very good odds, so I can't really recommend this item unless they come up with better connection instructions as I followed what little they had and it didn't work, except on my backup baby computer.

This device has proven to be 100% effective for my specific needs.As a frequent traveler, my primary goal is to convert any hotel TV into a smart TV, enabling me to stream my favorite movies from my phone or use it as an additional display for my laptop. I've tested this device across various hotels, with different TVs and even a standalone monitor. The common denominator for all these devices was the availability of an HDMI input port.In situations where the devices lacked HDMI power, I easily connected the device to USB power—be it through a power bank, an outlet, or directly to the TV's USB input, which powered the device perfectly. I've experienced no issues connecting to this device.During my tests, I used:- Android on my Samsung S24U, utilizing the out-of-box Smart View feature.- Laptops running Windows 10 (Gaming Acer) and Windows 11 (Surface Book 2), using the default remote display feature (WinKey+K).The connection was always smooth, without any lag. A notable advantage is that there's no need to connect to any Wi-Fi network, allowing the use of hotel Wi-Fi without restrictions. While I haven't tested it with iOS devices, it works flawlessly with Android.I highly recommend this device. It may not be the cheapest option available, but its performance justifies the not highest price.
