Amazing for the price!

Having paid just over £20, I'm shocked at how good this keyboard is. I really like the feedback and tactility of the blue switches and so that's an instant bonus for me, while the RGB isn't as customisable as other way more expensive keyboards, the presets you get here more than make up for that. I love how easy it is to read the keys due to the brightness of the RGB lights themselves, the light shines through really clearly.I mainly use my PC for gaming, and this has been incredible for that. It's very responsive and lightweight and so is great for that kind of thing. I also used this to type a large document and it worked fantastic for that as well, so can be useful for a lot of thingsHaving all of this in such a small package that looks sleek and unique is great! It allows me to just take this wherever I may need it. There's a reason why this is my main keyboard now.

Great value for money

The media could not be loaded. Great value for money. My first ever mechanical keyboard and I’m super pleased .It came well packaged and secure.I’ve already swapped out my keycaps but it’s not necessary. The ones they originally come with are good and explicit to easily follow the instructions.Sturdy, good wire to connect to my laptop, great range of backlit patterns. Not a big fan of the switch noise but you can change the switches or keycaps.

Looked and felt good but failed immediately

Keyboard felt solid and good quality, plugged it in and it worked for 5minutes. Then backlighting stopped working, keys stopped responding and doesn't work in any computer I try it in. Also tried one of my own cables and made no difference. Looks like the keyboard has died. Have requested a return and refund from Amazon.

A Solid Budget Keyboard with Style – Not Ideal for Heavy Typists but Great for Casual Use

As someone who types professionally—writing lengthy reports, proposals, and detailed documents daily—I always test new keyboards with a very specific and practical mindset. I gave the TECURS 60% mechanical keyboard a fair shot, using it for around two weeks as my primary typing device across various systems: a Windows 11 desktop, a Raspberry Pi 5, and at one point even through a USB hub on my monitor. While there was a single moment of connection lag when using the hub, it worked flawlessly once plugged directly into my ATX tower, so I suspect that was down to the USB port itself and not the keyboard. Aside from that, connection stability was perfectly fine. The keyboard is visually appealing—it has a clean, minimalist aesthetic with a white and grey colour scheme that fits well on a modern desk setup. It’s lightweight, compact, and genuinely easy to transport, thanks to the 60% layout and detachable USB-C cable. I can definitely see this appealing to gamers, students, or anyone who needs a keyboard that won’t take up too much space. The backlight is a nice touch and includes various modes, though it’s more of a decorative feature than a functional one for someone who touch types quickly. That said, for me personally as a bid writer and someone who spends six to ten hours a day typing, it wasn’t an enjoyable typing experience. The keyboard sits noticeably higher than a standard full-size mechanical keyboard, and the keycaps themselves have sharper edges and no sculpted indentations. Because of this, my fingers didn’t rest as naturally on the keys. I found myself slightly misaligning my hands at times or brushing key edges, which led to more typing errors. It’s not uncomfortable per se, but if you’re used to higher-end, sculpted keycaps with smooth finishes and curved tops, you’ll likely notice the difference quickly. The typing felt more fatiguing over longer sessions, especially since I’m usually typing at 100–120 WPM. On this keyboard, I averaged closer to 85–95 WPM, and the error rate crept up slightly—nothing dramatic, but certainly noticeable.Another limitation to be aware of is that the keyboard does not support hot-swapping. For those unfamiliar with the term, hot-swapping allows you to pull out and replace individual switches without needing to desolder them. It's incredibly useful for anyone wanting to customise their keyboard, whether for different switch types, sound profiles, or repairing a faulty switch. The lack of hot-swap support isn’t necessarily a downside at this price point—it’s common in entry-level mechanical boards—but it does mean you’re locked into the factory-installed blue switches unless you want to do a full mod with soldering tools, which most people won’t.That said, the blue switches themselves are fine. They offer tactile feedback and that classic “clicky” sound that many enjoy, especially for gaming or casual typing. But for me, someone who thrives on smooth, consistent key travel and satisfying feedback, the switches felt a bit hollow and too light. The actuation is clear, but not very refined, and the sound can be slightly high-pitched compared to more premium options. This is, of course, entirely subjective, and I can easily see how someone new to mechanical keyboards would really enjoy them—especially given the fun factor and audible feedback. From a build perspective, it feels decent. The casing is plastic, as expected at this price, but nothing rattled or wobbled, and the unit sat solidly on the desk with its grippy feet. It has an adjustable typing angle, which does help a little with comfort, but again, if you’re used to lower-profile or more sculpted setups, you may feel the difference in wrist strain over time. I’d also say wrist support might be helpful if you plan on using this keyboard regularly.Despite my criticisms, I don’t think this is a bad keyboard at all. In fact, it’s rather good for what it is: a cost-effective, stylish, compact mechanical keyboard that will appeal to the right kind of user. It would make a great gift, especially for younger users, casual gamers, or anyone looking to dip their toes into mechanical keyboards without spending too much. It’s perfect as a travel or secondary keyboard, or even something to throw in a bag for work-from-café setups.I have a lot of respect for the team behind this keyboard. They’ve clearly thought through the aesthetics, functionality, and affordability, and delivered something that will genuinely meet the needs of many users. But for professionals who type intensively every single day, or those who are deeply into keyboard customisation or switch feel, it might not be ideal. My final verdict is 3 stars—not because it’s bad, but because for me and my use case, it doesn’t tick all the boxes. But for others, especially those looking for a good value, compact keyboard with mechanical switches and a good overall build, it’s well worth considering.
