I used this board to make a Ham Radio Foxhunt Transmitter. Worked absolutely great. 9 Volt battery worked greatI had originally used an Arduino Uno R3 but this one was a lot cheaper and was a perfect repacement

It works great, and somehow the issue with the drivers has been resolved. No need to download the driver.

Bought this to use for testing code intended for another (genuine Arduino) board that is hard to access. My test code would run for a while, a few seconds to maybe a minute, then the serial monitor would either freeze, or go into "insanely fast loop", ignoring any delay() or millis() timing commands. A close look at the simple Blink sketch revealed that even when running "normally", a one-second delay would take anywhere from 960 to 1040 milliseconds, before the program crashed. I'll buy genuine Arduino from now on.UPDATE: I did not expect a refund for this item as it was too long since I had purchased it. But the seller reached out to me after my 1-star review and offered a full refund. Very unexpected for such an inexpensive item. Increasing my review to 3 stars due to seller's response. Maybe I just got a lemon.UPDATE #2: Seller reached out to me AGAIN, doing everything they can to make it right. I am increasing my rating to a 4 given their outstanding effort.

Basic Arduino UNO board, do NOT put a 9V battery into the jack, it only supports like, 5V, it will short circuit the board

I have been playing with this Arduino board and programming the little wonder. I am designing projects for my HAM Shack, using some of the designs in Simon Monk; Programming Arduino & the ARRL Arduino Project books; by Leigh Klotz, and an other ARRL book by Glen Popiel. Great price, great functional microprocessor, great learning experience. Even if your not a HAM it is a great learning tool, if you are interested in microprocessors and programming.

Plug in normal arduino, works great. plug this in, not recognized. Garbage. Never buying off brand arduino again. Will try to return.
