We have a chameleon and bearded dragon, we decided to use this with the cham. He absolutely loves it, fits in the enclosure nicely and blends in well with the decorations. I was worried it would be noisy as the enclosure is in the living room but you can't even really tell its on. Easy to set up and use, good to clean also. Definitely recommend.I would say to be mindful of the height of your enclosures is all.

We have a leopard gecko, so I was interested to review this as an upgrade to the basic bowl we have currently; the bowl works, but crickets tend to get drowned in it, so there was room for improvement.Setting it up was pretty easy, but attaching the water tube to the pump required a bit of force and the pipe had to be twisted 180 degrees so the water would spill back into the reservoir via the filter. The 3-layer filtration system seems like it will be effective, and useful to have a spare filter included. The blue light level sensor is intended to indicate when it's time to refill by turning red, however it's only noticeable if you view it head-on, and the way we need to have the feeder this isn't easily seen. Cleaning or replacing the filter box is simple once you understand the pipe fitting system. The pump is nearly silent, though noise will come from the water itself. A drawback for our setup is its size, as while the habitat is long and deep, it's not quite tall enough to house this. It's too tall by only about 1 cm though, and the top could be sanded down.Overall, while the feeder has some good features, it's not the most aesthetically pleasing item, and its size and design may not be suitable for all setups. If you have a larger tank and can accommodate its dimensions, it could be a valuable addition to your reptile's environment though, and is better than a simple bowl.

Revised to one star: caused a flood in my tank and hours of work to resolve. Cheap rubbish and should be avoided.It is a simple idea but something the hobby badly needed. It works well, is quiet and easy to set up. It does look very cheap, due to the plastic, but I improved the appearance significantly with stone based paint. The reservoir is not large enough, and in a warm enclosure the water only lasts a day before the motor starts getting noisier and you have to top up. I doubt the larger option (which has 200ml more) would last much longer. Overall it is decent but you have to get inventive with managing water levels and integrate other technology to make it possible to step away for longer than 24 - 36 hours.

We have a nephew who is rather obsessed with lizards, reptiles, snakes, spiders, what have you - and this was the perfect item to let him take a look at.It's ended up fitting well in his setup and he's very happy with the results. The feeder is of a good quality design and looks good. It works without fault and we haven't heard a single complaint yet.Recommended.

Definitely an upgrade for those just using a dish, the main issue is trying to get them to drink from it initially, but realistically this is a more natural feeling inside this than usual human means of providing water.Comes with a filter in the box which is great so nothing else you need, is usb powered too for ease of powering.The light will tell you if you need more water in it, which is a nice feature to alert you (red for needing more, blue for ok). Will need to remember to change filter though.Although chunky it can be blended in and actually doesn't look too bad.
