I cannot say that I don't dislike the odor of these candles. When aflame, they produce that unmistakable citronella scent, as expected as they are citronella candles that are set aflame, letting loose the powerful insect-repellent scent.Burning two at once usually repels nearly everything nasty and bitey in the summer, but occasionally some biting flies or whatever beasties not repelled by the candles make it through. Understandable!

Great candles. Use them on the porch by a lake. Does it's job. To bad it was packaged with my gourmet Cappadocia. Citronella just does not go well with baklava.

These work well and don’t smell too strong. We spread them out on the deck and they seem to keep the bugs away well.

Finally, one of these mosquito repellant candles actually works. The smell is very subtle, but it's actually kept mosquitos away on my balcony, making it perfect for outdoor use. The product quality is good, but be warned it does burn quickly. I'm about halfway done with it after maybe half a dozen uses. I will definitely be buying this again when it's needed, though. Very happy overall.

I bought this citronella candle thinking it would ward off mosquitoes like a tiny, lemony superhero. Instead, it turned into an all-you-can-eat buffet for the little bloodsuckers. I lit the candle, got cozy outside, and I swear the mosquitoes brought friends. One landed on the candle like it was checking out the scent and gave me a look like, “Nice ambiance.”At this point, I think the candle’s just mood lighting for mosquitoes. 10/10 for vibes, 0/10 for bite prevention. Smells very strong but does nothing for mosquitoes.

Works well but was only 1/3 full. I have never bought this product and it wasn’t 3/4 wax in container. Must have been defective rejects. I guess that’s why they were on sale. Would not buy again from vendor.

This citronella candle is adorable and perfect for a small patio table! It looks great as part of our outdoor setup and actually helps keep mosquitoes away in close range. Ideal for intimate spaces—plus the container is super cute and decorative. Definitely a nice little addition to backyard evenings!
