I'm a videographer by profession and the Smooth 4 is the first mobile gimbal I had tried. While it comes at a price, the gimbal does the job rather well. Stabilization is as good as say a DJI Ronin-S with a full-fledged video camera and the features work as intended. On comparing it to the DJI and Feiyu offerings, I found the DJI the easiest to use (run & gun scenarios) however the stabilization on the Smooth 4 was found to be a tad bit better, Feiyu is out of the picture. Battery life is great, I never found myself in a sticky situation during my field tests in the Ladakh region and the added bonus of charging a device while using the gimbal is well appreciated.The gimbal definitely works better on iOS than on Android although software can be fixed overtime. Filmic Pro (Check app/play store) now fully supports the Smooth 4 which is a good plus.All in all, a good product which does what's expected and is very well built.

Don't hesitate on this. This bad boy stabilizes the footage making them butter smooth. I say it does a great job of what it is meant for, stabilizing the video. Everything else I feel is additional.Spare the app for Android, it's not even half way compared to iOS version. Doesn't support 60 fps as of now for most of the Android phones like Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus.Even though the app is crappy for Android, there are some cool features which are noteworthy. The Motion Time lapse, Vertigo modes are super fun and super useful.Takes a little practice to get a hang of handling the gimbal movements. And so for different modes.The product is original. Warranty is for one year. So no doubt this is the best gimbal at the price point of 8.4k (with bank discount😉).

Got a bad product with issues in the item. Tested, updated the firmware, tested with 14 phone models and came to conclusion that it was a defective product. The gimbal had its own mind with faulty back switch and controls. Never worked and always felt dead. The motors were heating and never responded to controls.The back switch was defective as it was non responsive and dead switch.Tried with all options and had to return as it was dead on arrival.Waiting for return and a working model.

It's a decent gimbal , do t go for cheaper ones . You cant use zhiyun app for long as it keep getting disconnected if you shoot video for long. Very good battery life, nice stablization. Zoom wheelwont be of that use not at all smooth. You can use your phone camera for 60fps videos not app camera if you dont have iPhone, samsung s series . M using it with samsung a 70. Filmic pro is also not compatible for almost standard android phones . You cant connect filmic pro with bluetooth.

Compared to other brands this is more better.Video quality is also good.Also the gimbal is light weight. This stabilizer is a 3-axis hand-held gimbal designed for smartphones.I love this very much. Besides being able to stabilize and reduce shaky motion ,when shooting video, the gimbal offers quite a few useful features and tools.The main features include the dramatic vertigo effect, the ability to pull focus and zoom, object tracking as well as different timelapse modes.On the front side of the grip are different buttons such as the record button. Switching between Pan Following Mode and Locking Mode is very easy and done quickly thanks to the switch at the front. Most gimbals require to press a mode button a certain amount of times to change between modes which can be confusing at times so it’sgood to see that Zhiyun simplified the mode change.Even though the Smooth 4 is a gimbal it’s much more of a tool that turns my phone in to a proper camera.Of course the video quality is limited by how good the phone’s camera is but it’s impressive to see how far technology has come in the past decade.i love it very much.
